this was so inspiring. I'm just out of the first trimester with really really bad nausea and I was eating like trash! Now I finally crave some healthy nourishing food again. I couldn't cook for 3 months straight, so sad but now all I want is veggies, whole grains, seeds, nuts, fresh fruit and I'm soo happy and this video gave me so much more ideas thank you
I was the same way when I was pregnant. I could stomach McDonald’s but that was almost it until I hit my 2nd trimester and my nausea went away. Now I’m eating much much healthier.
Oh my goodness this is me right now. I’m still in my first trimester and can’t stand cooking. Everything sounds so gross except for things like chips and sugary cereals. I don’t think I’m gaining any weight also because I don’t eat a lot because of my nausea even though I’m just eating junk. Gee, I feel so gross and just overall really bad about everything!
@@junejun8 I feel you!!!! I don't even have nausea and still cannot handle eating healthy.. I mean I eat a healthy breakfast but then in the middle of the day, a lot of sweets and chips and some frozen food.. not good. Have a bit of a bad feeling and guilt towards the baby, I hope I will find some mental power to avoid unhealthy food! :)
Oh my gosh this is me right now! Just turned 16 weeks today with baby number 2 and I need cheap easy fun ways to stay healthy! I couldn't eat much, now I want what I can't afford or don't want to cook myself...granted my situation may be a little different from mthe rest of the group lol😅
Puffed rice is used in India to make a snack called "bhel puri". It is basically a salad, put tomatoes, cucumber, onion, cilantro, lemon, salt, pepper and crunchy puffed rice. Enjoy as a salad
Hey there, from my experience...Be careful of too much greens, they're gaseous and when you breastfeed, that transfer to baby... I learned it the hard way! I thought the healthier the better but that's not always the case... My baby is now two months... when she cries because of gas, its just so painful to watch because you can see it hurts. Little Remedies Gas Drops is a life saver! All the best to you and have a safe delivery!
Nuts and seeds were the only thing that kept away my restless leg syndrome too. Every morning, I ate oats with walnuts, flax and hemp hearts. I swear if I skipped this combo at any time, I would wake up in the middle of that night with pains. I read in one of my mom groups that cucumbers with no skin, and blueberries really help keep the swelling down. I wish I had have read that while I was pregnant rather than after.
You're so adorable I'm so glad I found your channel. I love your healthy snack options! I've been looking for a healthy pregnancy influencer. So glad I found you
So happy to see that you are staying safe and healthy and hope everything is going well for you during your pregnancy and hope your unborn baby is healthy and growing and my thoughts and prayers are with you for a safe and healthy pregnancy and God bless you all and stay safe and healthy. Love 💘, guys so much ❤
I don’t know if I just don’t understand pregnancy or if time is really going so fast but your bump is growing so fast ! I’m so happy for you you’re pregnancy is being ‘easy’ by which I mean not absolutely terrible
When my husband and I lived in Portugal I had a co-worker who got us the best rasberries every week fresh from her neighbours garden! My husband is Greek so Kalamata olives are my obsession.

I’ve been wondering if you plan to breastfeed and when you mentioned that oats help with milk production you answered my question. I’d love to see a video of healthy lactation recipes! I swear I gained 10 lbs from all the cookies I ate the first time around.
Wow I didn't know sunflower seeds are high magnesium, I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant and I get the worst leg cramps at night, I've been taking magnesium tablets and spraying magnesium spray on my legs before sleep and WOW helps dramatically! Definitely gonna eat some sunflower seeds also 🌻🌻xx
Thank you for this! I had a miscarriage almost a year ago and I’m pregnant again and really trying to take a healthier approach this time. Definitely needed this!
You are just so adorable and I have really enjoyed watching your videos, trying your recipes and learning new foods to try! You are just a beautiful person and spirit. Be blessed 💞

Best wishes, mama! I made my first dish from my healthnut cookbook last night/ it was a huge hit with the whole family- including the 3 and 4 year old 💕 Edit: making the quinoa chicken tenders tonight 🙌🏼
Thank you for the recipe of the pancakes! They are a bit with my girls, I added vanilla or gain protein powder& superfood too it, and they LOVE IT! 🥰 I’m trying to learn to sneak in veggies and fruits so this was an amazing recipe to add this protein powder too! 🥰
I craved uncooked oats with almond milk, melted nut butter, coconut, flax, chia, hemp hearts, fresh mango, and a couple dark chocolate chips after I had my last baby. I ate it like a cereal. So amazingly delicious. You might like it!
I watch nikki phillipi all the time on youtube.... she just had her son a few months ago and she said dates are great for breast milk production. I bet you would like her channel and some of her maternal videos. I cant wait for baby acorn!!!!
😂 That’s how it feels tho! When you’re craving something during pregnancy and get to eat it is Sooo Good!!! (But when something is terrible during pregnancy it’s really terrible! 🤷🏽♀️) we gotta take our wins where we can 😋
So for whatever reason i have been told to stay away from herbal teas... Which seems weird to me. You seem to be doing fine with your tea, but just out of curiosity has the doctor okay-d the tea or? Just curious not judging ! I want to try!!
I am currently just over 7 weeks pregnant and my appetite is so strange. I've always eaten pretty good and I always home cook my food and now I just dislike everything and I get hungry and then I end up eating a pastry or a pretzel. Its terrible...I feel so bad but I just dislike everything I used to eat...especially meat. So I am trying to get new ideas...thank you, this is helpful!
I’ve been eating cherios with bananas for breakfast. It’s my 8th week I can barely stomach anything but this is my go to. Advice to survive the first trimester?
Our store finally has Oat Milk. I been getting Cashew Milk. Think I'll try the Oat Milk. Now watch when I go to get it they will be out of it. lol. Raspberries are one of my favorite Berries. And very healthy for you. They are so tangy I mix them with Blueberries. Green Tea is my favorite. Black Tea is really good too.
I enjoyed watching your video I'm curious, Why don't you eat cooked salmon during pregnancy? I heard it's one of safe sea food for mommies to be, is that wrong?
OMG I am so freaking happy... I have been craving shrimp so much but I thought I couldn't eat it. I have been eating fish but now I'm about to make my BBQ Shrimp recipe.... oh man!
Mushroom Blend is a great alterNATIVE... OLIVE LEAF TEA, Yerba MATE, Moringa, Black Walnut Hull, Roses, Rose Congu, Ashwaganda ( not sure if pregnancy safe)... Seems to be working out for my gut I have been using 6/7 TEA with 1/7 coffee blend
