I had both a 3080/12g & a 3080Ti before moving to a 4080. I would say it was nice that nVidia added another 2ghb for the base 3080 but wish they had given the Ti a few more too.
With how cheap 3080s are now, I got one for £390 with warranty in fantastic condition, just get that. The performance difference is insignificant but the price difference is quite big. The 3080 is the best pre owned deal on the market right now. And 2080ti for £250 is also a steal.
@@GPUTester that what im talking about, default is 320w for 3080, and 350w for 3080ti, but in test they are the same, so 3080 is closer to 3080ti than normal. Btw with that 370w limit you should be able to hit 2000mhz+ (oc)
Quite the difference in 2023. People were talking about tiny difference back in the day but that's not rly the case. Except dying light 2 and nfs , you see quite a difference.
@@ESKATEUK it is a healthy 15 % difference that can extent even more when it is a 4k scenario that needs more than 10 gigs of vram. There are cases that you can go from unplayable to playable when comparing those gpus if you use 4k ultra rt for example.
@@ESKATEUKit is for me plus the extra 2gbs of vram more future proof for 4k gaming which I will be doing. Also 3080tis can be found for 500 dollars. It’s more like a 150 dollar difference.
