I grew up listening to country music.I am 65 yrs now. When I was pregnant I would dance to the music. When my son was born that was the music he grew up with.Sadly he is no more He died in a vehicle accident. We dance that morning before he went to univ.He was a medical student He died that evening inJan 20th 2017.He was 19 years of age.God bless his soul. 9:40
So sorry for your loss sweet lady. I can't say I fully know what you've been through. I can say I do know the very real fear of losing a son.Backing up a bit. June 12th 1997, The love of my life, David Kanode had just turned 28., I was 31. Little did I know he wouldn't be around to see another bday. To see our girls grow up. If he had he'd have been proud to call them his own.He died the next mth July 27th. Which left me at 31 a single mother of 5 children aged 9 and under. Mine and David's were the two youngest, both girls, ages 3 and 4..So I know the pain, the absolute horror, the devastation you must have felt losing your son. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Right? This is when I learned in life not to assume anything and not to ever say never..I did. I being so so unbelievably sad, depressed and devastated made a remark that I assumed to be true. I said, "this will go down as the worst thing to happen to me". I told myself and everyone else, "this is really bad"(My David Dying)I said, " I can't imagine anything being worse" I said, "Nothing in my lifetime will ever compare let alone be worse than it is right now." Four years later when my son was 15 he was diagnosed with a very aggressive kind of leukemia teenage boys are known to get. He was lifeflighted by helicopter to Duke. A AWESOME hospital in Raleigh North Carolina. If that wasn't bad enough our family shared the ICU waiting room with the family of a teenage boy named Daniel who had same kind of cancer my son had. Only difference was he had been in remission. His cancer was back and he wasn't expecting to make it. I know I don't need to tell you that alone made me think my son's chances weren't good. Long story short. With the grace of God, the excellent doctors at Duke,, alot of pills, weekly epidurals, and 3 years of chemotherapy my son is still with us today. Even though maybe losing my son, or any of my children for that matter would have been worse than when I lost my David. I'm not making the mistake of saying never can anything...blah blah blah again. Bcuz of course it can..We are proof that sad things do happen. In life nothing is guaranteed is it? It seems to me that often good things happen or shall I say come to bad people and bad things to the good. I so wish to understand.Im forever keeping the faith. I hope you lovely lady do too. I'm forever happy y'all, you and your son, got to dance. I just know he's waiting for you, to dance again. A song for you n your son by Dani and Lizzy I think. It's called Dancing in the sky. It's so beautiful makes me think of my David. That just maybe he is in a better place, and he's dancing! I'd like to think so anyway. I hope your son's right there dancing too. Till our time to dance with them again.Check out that song. Again I am so sorry for your loss❤❤
I only like the old type of country music from days gone by, what they call “country music” these days doesn’t do a thing for me and I don’t listen to it ever!!!
Me neither. Unless there's someone old comes out with something new. IDK how long Rhonda Vincent has been out there. I had learned of her when she was collaberating with Darryl Singletary on Country Road Tv. Only telling you bcuz I think you might like her. I did. She sounds like old country. Check out her n Singletarys duets. She promotes the old country sound. She's good with or w/o him. Also bcuz I was so into music and missed this song somehow I don't want you to if you maybe have. It's by Darryl Singletary n it's called Old Violin. I also love his song The Note. I hope you check them out. Let me know what you think. They are two of my favorites. I'm not sure but I thought I heard he had died this past year but don't quote me on that one. It still blows my mind I missed out on him all together. I'm thinking I did remember hearing his name but never listened to him. My loss for sure. When I was 12 the girls in my family, my GMA, my Aunt's, and my Mother were going to the capital city music hall in wheeling WV to see Loretta Lynn. Having an extra ticket they took me.. from then on it was all she wrote. Lol Not only my favorite artist it was till this day one of the very best times in my life. Ok imma 🤐 After I say this. If u love old country listen to Rhonda Vincent and her duets with Darryl Singletary. Also check out his The Note n my favorite Old Violin.I don't think you'll be disappointed..✌️out. Hope u find something you like🤗
@@cathyowens6915 I love listening to Don Williams, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, George Jones, Jim Reeves, Emmylou Harris and many others! I love the duet that Don Williams and Emmylou Harris sang together called “If I Needed You” but this new so called “country music” is garbage in my opinion and I won’t waste my time on it. 😁
Autour of " One Breatha Time . Kevin Griffin 2018. ONE BREATH at a time des scribes the convergence of two vital traditions -one ancient ,the other contemporary _and shows how they work together to create a rich spiritual path. C'est la raison pour laquelle je me suis demandée si c'était le chanteur .😊
love country music since the70s just so natural to listen to every day. I love singing also to those old country songs. Thank you for sharing this music with us.😎
Kevin Griffin interpretare perfecta a stilului country! Felicitari pentru pastrarea melodiilor si genului tradițional al unui gen muzical popular american cunoscut si in lume ! Minunat si Felicitari! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
