I'm not saying that Auburn wouldn't still have won but the two back to back holding calls missed by the refs helped that last score happen... Who knows Houston could've still been in FG range and tied it up and taken it overtime... But missed calls helped that score...

@@rayray5472 And you can blame Jaylin Simpson's behind for that targeting call at 11:00-11:01. That instance not only helped Houston run out the clock on the drive the hit took place, but it also gave them the winning score. Simpson is actually a good cover cornerback, but he f***** up on that targeting play. Unnecessary hit.

Lol didn’t you learn anything about his failures at wvu? As a wvu fan I felt bad when you hired him because I knew exactly what he would do. Houston is in a horrible conference, last year Houston had 2 challenging teams, Texas Tech and Cincinnati, they lost them both, then went to their crappy bowl game against an 8-4 Auburn team and eked out a win, great. This year, 2 somewhat challenging games on the schedule, Texas Tech again, and a Kansas team that was way better than anyone expected, lost them both. He already lost as many games as he did last year. The rest of his schedule is horrible conference play that he’ll probably win out. Then he’ll get into another meaningless bowl game, and have a close game that could go either way (probably lose though). Holgerson always does this, he sneaks by each season winning all the games that he should, making it look like he’s doing more than he is, and he waits for the one big season where everything falls into place perfectly (easy schedule, won the few somewhat challenging games, and somehow gets a BCS bid) and then says look! I did it! When in reality he did exactly what any coach should have. As a wvu fan it was 7 years of absolutely nothing from a guy who was only there for himself in the first place, he got his lucky season his first year where he was in the BigEast before it disbanded and he barely won the conference in a three way tie with two conference losses each, we were given 1st place, got the automatic BCS bid since it was still considered a BCS conference, and went to the Orange Bowl and had a crazy lucky game where we blew out Clemson. But honestly other than that one very lucky season Holgerson has done absolutely nothing as a head Coach at wvu or Houston, and it’s not going to change anytime soon.

Thanks for that. I didn't know Houston was moving to the Big 12. They'll be moving to the Big 12 in 2023, good for them. I know someone who is walking on to the football team at Houston in 2022 so this is news to me.

Imagine beating a team full of SEC caliber players with a roster full of 2 and 3 star guys who's best offers other than UH were schools like La Tech, SFA, Tulsa, New Mexico, etc. There was no reason for Auburn to lose that game at home to a team that was missing Marcus Jones AND Logan Hall but they lost so yea we have reason to be proud of our guys
