I'm my cats third owner, Marry is a two and half year old brown haired Tabby cat. I promised her she would never have to go back to the shelter. I won't ever abandon her. My cat prefers using closed litter boxes, I started with a open one and she went other places so week three I got her a big closed litter box and she uses it and I have not seen her have any accidents since then.
It blows my mind that it’s even a thing. It makes me think of those poachers in movies that have a bunch of exotic animals chained up in tiny cages for some reason
I had a cat meowing as my ringtone for many years. My current cat took exception and became uneasy whenever it rang. Finally he began to hate it so much he began to attack me when I answered the phone. I finally found a ringtone he doesn't react to. I tried the theme from Harry Potter but he hated that one too.
My cat loves having his face rubbed. My boyfriend has a special way he rubs his cheeks and its adorable to see! He loves his belly petted as well. Just a couple strokes, nothing long term....he is a character and we love him very much!
Although I feel this video provided good advice, many people who have known well a number of cats will say that they know of a cat who was an exception to the guidance. For many of us, our claims are true, but that merely proves that individual cats vary. If you think you know of an exception, think it over, and then decide for that cat. For example, I have a cat who stands solicits belly rubs, and he means that you should gently and slowly stroke his belly fur; but I still don't do it to other cats, and I watch his behavior closely, to make certain he actually wants the belly rub. I also give two of my cats very small amounts of unflavored yogurt a couple times a week; they relish it, show no signs of distress in digestion or in the litter box, and three successive vets have approved continuing the practice. And when one of the cats needed to take a granular medication for a while, it was the only way to administer it; I had tried all the usual means, and the vet involved verified that the milk product would not adversely affect the medication for the short time they were mixed.
So far, not in one single video. Have I seen anything about another reason cat's end not eating or being really picky about food, up drinking or eating, or going the bathroom a lot. This means they have kidney issues. I did not know this might have been able to save my cat if I was educated on that. Maybe make a video so other's like myself can see warning signs that your cat is suffering from a major problem, It would of been nice to know with mine I might of been able to do something about it if it was caught earlier from a vet. Just had to throw that out here because I've watched a lot of the videos, and nothing from any of them have touched the subject on it.
Though she’s a cuddly cat,on her terms only.! Oh remember old wives tale” let sleeping cats lie?” I let her be herself ..As we should all be. Plus my cat Pumpkin not only is 15 suffers from severe arthritis and is on a mild vets prescription . Even more reason to let her sleep. No, she’s not like in the bag.she acts normal, after meds wear off before the meds she’d cry all night. Something needed to be checked I couldnt touch her back even the most gently before this point. It was such a sad time. No, it wasn’t nails. You need if you hear a cat do this plus the sensitivity to the spinal area and hind quarters she’s crying even hissing it may start in older ages …generally . Though Pumpkin never ever bit me as any of my animals large and small, have😃⭐️⭐️) she hissed plenty before treatment then cried all night as I said. Yes I invested bc she’s a small girlie though a very good eater! In a great carrier w sheepskin inside kitty loves it Sometimes she’ll go sit in it Leave them open at home
Pumpkin purrrrrs like a motorbike with the famous ear rubs and the little cheek rubs always before bedtime after she’s checked in all well in home.she will gently place her paw on top of my hand or my arm. I def do see Pumpkin adjusted better to music more to rows and any phone calls. But I wish she’d do Pumpkin things” but she is 15 and would be jealous and gets pouty easily if I’m out rarely most all day ) I cat proof this place tip to tail as I advise all should do! Watch it too if you yourself are on medication and your cat! Keep them far away from a cat at any age ! These points excellent for the cats and owners causing DEATHS EVERY YR ! Not even mentioned? helloooooo.
Its making it sound like please dont touch me what so ever i love my cat he came to me from another family as he was a bully to another cat so i left him to settle with me being on my own and yes it helps to get information but listening to this its frightening i know were and how long to feel my cat i never push him i think listening to you is not going down well
I got a comment regardong blowing air in my kitties face. I have only caught myself doing that when she starts knawing on my arms when she wants to rough play when I'm in bed, trying to get some sleep.
And just how do you KNOW cats hate all of these things? How many cats have you done all these tests on? . I definitely disagree with you! Cats, like people are all different and not all of these things bother all cats! Just common sense!
Hello there. I always say in my videos that every cat is unique. So this one is solved. Moving on to the other part of your comment. It's not me saying this. It's cat behavior experts and tens of thousands of studies on cat behavior made by actual scientists. There are so many out there that give us an idea of what cats do and why and what they dislike or like based on their natural instincts. Observation is of course the key element in all these studies. So, no, I don't test the cats personally, even if I can see a lot of these things in the cats around me and living with me. Agree with you, does not apply to all cats and not all cats are the same.
