Thinking that artificial wombs are more than just pods where the fetus develops. The womb is attached to a human which in most cases moves around and interacts with sounds. It’s already been established that we can hear when inside the womb which aids in brain development. No point genetically opting for an intelligent human if the crucial development of the brain is omitted.
