"Truckers income has dropped by 24%!" ... a~and your solution to this is to automate their career out of existence, dropping their potential income by 100%. Brilliant.
Agreed, and think the gist of that project, and its location, is for biomes where tree propagation is either too difficult or feasible. Tundra, permafrost and desert regions come to mind. That said, remove too much CO2 from the atmosphere and there's less heating of the land and oceans, leading to rapid cooling of both until we reach another ice age.
I believe it’s been around longer than that. It was used back in the 20s or 30’s with steam power in New York to get mail and other documents to different buildings in downtown New York. In fact, steam is still used today to hear building and other uses. I believe some of the tubes might still be in use today, but not sure.
@@951WoodworkDesigns-bx4kn : Your comment prompted me to do a little research. Apparently the tube system was first used in London in 1853. A telegraph office I believe.
A question, why did the Swiss company Climeworks build the facility in Iceland and not Switzerland ? Were there grants or tax incentives which made Iceland a more attractive deal ? I'm curious that's all, thank you.
That inflatable ferry is very cool, I like how handy it can be. And it even can carry that little excavator. Such a simple way to get your car or truck across a lake to your cabin, or lake side cottage. 🤸🤸🤸🤸👍👍😇😇😇😜😲
@@octaviannkya9417 : It seems the censors at the tube deleted my comment. The earth has been greening up over the last 25 years. The Sahara desert is actually starting to green up. Plant life needs CO2 to survive and in return give us oxygen. The earth's co2 levels need to come up a bit. The green the earth is the cooler the earth becomes. If you don't believe me take off your shoes and walk barefoot on an asphalt parking lot OR clay road and then walk on the grass. Don't believe the global alarmists who were absent from eighth grade biology.
Innovation is great, technology is great. You know what's not great? Innovating people out of jobs. Machines are awesome but they aren't going to pay your rent, school or medical bills. Why are all these oh so smart people determined to phase out their own species? We are so close to living in a sci-fi age but it's going to blow up in our faces if we allow these companies to further reinforce the global plutocracy we've all fallen into.
I live in San Diego, California and I'm 60 and I would buy a quality BYD in a second it's simple economics gas in California can hit $7 a gallon highest in nation (monopoly with one refinery here). A good safe car for my family no brainer. And I can trickle charge it for free with an RV solar panel system. What happened to America with free markets and Capitalism So now all I can do is wait for the Tesla model 2 as it's all I can afford with the very high cost of living here. Take care and hoping your wife can beat her cancer like my mother and sister did.
A product for blind people that doesnt look down is dumb... how are they to know if they are about to trip? The problem having a seeing person show off something for the blind.
Please worship the CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, THE LORD GOD and try not to worry too much about the differences between the different religions and denominations, try to think about the similarities and the things they may have in common more than the differences. Daily prayer is a fundamental part that many people do not practice although it is encouraged 🙏🙏 "CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, LORD GOD, I beg you to never force me to worship any false god and I ask you for forgiveness for my sins and immorality. Thank you for everything. Amen." Please pray this now, pray the words as you read them if you cannot look and remember them 🙏🙏🙏🙏
