That's true BUT... every human being is different. Some can do it ur way & some can't. I would say most can't! Most people addicted to drugs need rehab for the simple fact that they have to get themselves in an environment where they do not hv access to the drugs. This is part of the reason why some people will do EXCELLENT while in a facility but go right back to drugs wnen they get out! Bc even though they may have the drive & willpower to want to be clean, the main ingredient was the inability to obtain the drugs. Congrats to u for getting & remaining sober!🎉🎉🎉

Absolutely Parents are the first teachers and his parents have definitely failed him. He even said when he got thrown out of his dad's house, he gave up on himself and them then. It's going to take a lot of love to bring that baby out of the streets and the people he wants it from have gave up on him. That's the sad part.

It breaks my heart to see Josias decline this way. It’s my hope that he realizes that you love him and want the best for him. Short term rehab will not help and long term will only work if he truly wants sobriety. Addiction is a demon and not easily overcome. We must pray for this young man. 🙏❤️

I hate to say it but truth is Josias is beginning to look like a ghoul. The crack and other substances got him down bad, basically killing himself. But as long as he has breath in his body and the blood is running warm..he has a chance to turn his life around..he just really really gotta want to!! Good luck Jo🙏🏽
I love his outfit! Josias is so mentally and physically exhausted. His eyes has lost the light and excitement that once lived in them. He looks like he’s just ready to stop living already. I wish he would have the heart surgery, but I understand it’s his decision and that he doesn’t want to. It’s getting more painful each interview watching Josias. I don’t even know why I keep clicking when I see his face knowing that it’s gonna hurt every time. God bless 💜💯

Come on now Josias…pull through…Conquer your trauma and leave the drugs, alcohol and girls in your past. You are a talented and handsome young man…don’t cause irreversible damage to yourself. You have people rooting for you. Go to rehab, leave the girls alone, get healthy and get yourself together…the ladies will always be there later…focus on yourself, mental health and physical health first….the rest will come.

I worked on West Side of Atlanta it takes a lot for ppl that are feeling like no one cares to open up and pour out their hearts. Once they find someone they can talk to that's all they want is to be heard and to know someone cares. He does more than film and sometimes ppl see themselves on screen and that helps them.
My heart just breaks seeing this young man declining like this. I can’t help it. I’m human and my mother’s heart just weeps for him. I truly hope he gets the help,love and support that he needs in order to move forward in his life in a healthy way. He’s not a lost cause yet! I’m not going to send him any money because I don’t support anyone else’s habits. But prayer is free. And I will continue to do that for him. ❤❤❤

He asked the interviewees how was your childhood and most say horrible… for any parent watching their grown child high, homeless, and jobless doing an interview for pocket change to survive should be an introspection of what the did raising this child to cause this as well as a way to write the wrongs of the past and help their grown child….
This young man is going to die in those streets if he doesn't get help fast. He's such a beautiful person on the outside but is tormented on the insides praying he gets help before he dies or kill someone.
I'm scared for him for what dark roads drugs can take you down. People "sell" themselves for drugs and that would be absolutely horrible for someone to get so low they would have to do that. Please Josias get some help!
I have an inkling he’s already been doing this for a while. It’s more than likely the shame of that that’s making him beat on his girlfriends. If you listen to an old video, he’s already admitted that his mom used to make him do that with men.
His dad came to take him & he stayed saying he wanted to help his mom. Now he's on drugs and saying he wants nothing to do with his mom. Staying in a bad environment to help someone else doesn't make sense. The best way to help someone else is to help yourself. Some people can't be help no matter how hard you try.
Let me clearly say that I offered help and some people think I want this young man,look I'm talking about a year long recovery program that takes no medical insurance,they get you employment and you get recovery in patients. Please keep your negative comments to yourself because the program I'm talking about saved my life 2 years ago. I have nothing but the love of God in me, to offer what was so freely given to me. I'm talking about recovery that's what the program teaches us. Blessings

Why not use your resources to help this baby. Call someone for him or something. This was a great opportunity to get him to go get help. He was crying out for help in this moment. 🙏🏾😢

Marcus, Josias has been lying to you since your 1st interview. Why are you asking him "why"? He is a liar. Plain and simple. You are too old to not understand that he always lies to you and interviews you when he doesn't want to answer. He doesn't want to answer your questions he just needs the money. They all do. Stay with your format, ask the questions follow-up, update and keep it moving.
He lies to you so you can keep getting money from you. That’s how crackheads work I had two in my family some years back they play on your sympathy for them. I’ve even taken my family member to a rehab supported them why they was in rehab at some point there’s nothing you can do until they get tired or in bad health. As a result that happen all you can do is pray 🙏🏾

Josiah's respect you and he listens to you. F*** the interviews get him into a rehab ASAP. He's a good kid who is lost. Unfortunately there are a lot off Josiah's is out there but the great thing about this situation is he has you. I could see that he respects and love you. But it's time for a serious intervention we don't want to lose Josiah's. And I know you don't either because if you did you wouldn't be out there at night looking for him trying to make sure that he's okay. I pray for my brother Josias to go to rehab and get help because he’s not a bad looking guy, but he needs to come to Connecticut at Yale or they do a special doctors that deal with his heart before it gets worse there’s something going on in his vessels and his heart, and he needs to get it taken care of as soon as possible. And I’ll pray for him today which is the sabbath day Saturday.

Brother I’ll say this. When a person on drugs say they want to go to rehab DO NOT TRUST THEM especially when money is involved because they use that as a means to garner sympathy. He has to hit rock bottom and has to go to rehab ON HIS OWN. At this point there is no amount of talking that Marcus can do to turn him around. The faith has to come from within.

I doubt if he’s ready to change. I don’t feel it. He’s not tired enough. He hasn’t really reached rock bottom. He hasn’t reached his breaking point yet. Crack is addictive and you usually have to be down right sick and tired to kick the habit and change. His habit is just starting.
One thing I know FOR A FACT about drug addiction...u gotta want to overcome the drugs w/ALL ur might! EVERYTHING in u must want to be clean! And unfortunately, Josias is not there yet! He couldn't even say yes w/his mouth, just shook his head "no" that he wouldn't do crack anymore😣 Its sad 2watch him go into the abyss like this but until HE WANTS TO STOP, this is his path.
Goodluck, Josias. Try to remember that there's more to life than the hell you're experiencing now and it doesn't always have to be like this; just takes action and time to change things. Set goals and envision a positive future for yourself, then make moves that take you closer to that future you see.
