Marcus is constantly coming up with suggestions to help him and he keeps turning him down. His mother said something about him that stayed on my mind. That was Josias want to do what he wants to do. He doesn't want any structure or rules.

Sure does. They only have each other and can only truly trust each other. They both need a safe place together. That pup could be in pain too. Animals can’t express their pain in words but through their actions. Those two are living in extreme conditions. Sleeping on concrete, not even as plush as grass. Not eating healthy balanced meal. This is America. There shouldn’t be anyone homeless, anyone living pay check to pay check. Housing should be safe and affordable. FREE and equal health care especially mental. There’s more than enough land for us all. I keep faith that we all are waking up to the indoctrination and lies of the American Dream. There was a mockery of the woke movement a few years ago, but I believe there will be a resurgence of this “woke” knowledge as a collective 🙏🏾

I think you're missing the point. He's not doing the interviews for fame, he's doing the interviews with Josiah's because his family is calling to find out why he hasn't called lately. That is the whole purpose for the interviews with the homeless people. To reconnect them with their families. Everyone needs to do their part❤❤❤
I ran into him at 5 points.. I barely didn’t recognize who he was. I’m glad his face is healing cause it was way worse then this.. I told him to stay safe & stay out of trouble.. giving him encouraging words along my way to work that day. I’m 24 just a couple year older then him, I hate seeing someone so young lost like this. Better days are going to come though.. Hope God lead him on the right path soon..
I do agree with you my heart goes out to him and he just needs to go home and this is heartbreaking and I cry because I don’t want to see him this way and he doesn’t have to be out here and his dad came to get him and he didn’t want to go back home so what can they do no more than pray and hope that he ok and this is so sad i pray that he gets his life together and wake up and realize he needs to go home and I’m praying for this young man to get off the streets and go home to his family that love him because they is so worry about him so I just pray for him AMEN 🙏
The way to God is through His Son Jesus Christ. All Josiah have to do is believe and receive JESUS. So that He can be lead in the right path. God ain't forcing himself on nobody. Matthew 11 verse 28, 29, 30.
Addiction mixed with a mental disability is a destructive combination. He gotta find enough strength to take control and make a change. It's all up to him.
Josia's response to his parents is def connected to his current living situation. He rather be on the streets suffering then with his parents. He does seem to have love for his grandfather. Hope he heals for himself, he such a beautiful soul!❤😢
He didn't even open his eyes and started to mumble something when asked he anything to say to his grandpa , he gives no fcuks he happy what he doing or he made effort when knowing his ppl are there if he would change his life, I've been in his shoes so I've known plenty ppl like him

I RECENTLY HAD A homeless childhood friend who was struggling to find housing. He had a dog and lived out his car. Housing opportunities did come several times, but by then, he had bonded with the dog and turned down many offers because he could not move the dog in with him to the places people offered. Once homeless people bond with pets, it's hard to separate them. One day, my friend got sick and took the dog to someone to watch while he checked into the emergency room. They discovered that he had chronic kidney disease, and he passed away at the hospital a week and a half later. I attended his burial services, where I found out through his family about his struggle with being homeless. A photo of his dog was on his obituary and listed as his close companion. RIP Shawn Mikell. (Don't know what became of his dog Bullet)
Yes, they do!! So do people who lose a loved one and get a dog! Dogs are literally unconditional love, well, they also love who feeds them, but not everyone has experienced that special special bond, like being homeless, missing meals, and still being by each others side!! I know what this feels like; I have a son refusing help, and it is hard to see your child out in the street especially when you can get him help. We all know this young guy needs help, but he has a mental illness and a substance addiction, yes he is a sick guy; he can't make rational decisions, and unfortunately, no one can make him get help; he has to do it himself. The only other way that he will get help is if he commits a crime. Right now his dog is his best friend and comforts him. I love his Dog, Lord, Father in Heaven, thank you for all you do for us here in this cruel world. Thank you for this young man, who wants nothing but to help Josiah. Lord, please let it be your will that he will want to come in from the streets and get help. God, please keep this young man safe, and continue to send angles his way. Amen, Amen, Amen. That dog can’t go to jail with him. He will have a further setback in prison. That’s not a bad kid. Fortunately but unfortunately dogs travel in and are loyal to their pack. As a domesticated dog Josias is his pack. As long as they are not being abused a dog will follow their pack to the ends of the earth.
Yes, you can admit somebody against their will to go into a hospital for mental health or drug addiction, through the Baker Act law. Maybe he'd come to his senses within the 72-hour hold?
@@melishadaniels2055regardless of where he goes, if he cannot bring his dog, the Humane Society will keep his dog for free until he is well and available. It's a special program they have, I don't remember the name of it
I watch all of your street interviews, and never comment. But this breaks my heart to see him beat up like this. I'm almost started crying when I zoomed in on him. He's really hurt and in obvious pain. Go home Josias before it's too late. Before you go home another way. 😢😢😢❤❤

Josias has a lot of prayers coming his way! I’ve been watching your videos about him for about two weeks. I moved to Atlanta a year ago and moved downtown. I see a lot of the people you interview daily. I have yet to see Josias but I pray for him daily! I have a son myself and could never imagine what his parents and loved ones are going through. Your plat form is amazing and a way for not only his parents but this city to keep up with his well being. I know you’ve developed a care for him and I hope he eventually listens to you! @Arvin Josias gets a monthly check but doesn't use it towards shelter so why should Marcus? Marcus does allow for Josias to shower but there is not a lot one can do when they are dealing with someone who is addicted to drugs and suffers from mental illnesses.

They’re not sitting back but Josiah’s is an adult. You heard his mom say that he called the police on her twice for trying to make him leave. His dad came took him home and he came right back. 🤷🏾♀️ keeping up with him is most important because he’s not ready
