Brilliant video ramblebob subscribed and notification turned on amazing to see a man and his love for the grate outdoors can't wait for the next video 👍👍
Hi, new subscriber here. I'm a Grimbarian myself and therefore familiar with the locations in your two videos. I've done a fair bit of wild camping in the Peak District and Lake District but hardly much at all in Lincolnshire. It's a bit more difficult to get discreetly tucked away. I've discovered a couple of locations however and I'm hoping to try them out in the next fortnight or so. I have to rely on public transport and this country is heading for months of travel chaos; so I'm planning on exploring more of my local area. Never slept in a hammock. Must give it a try sometime. Thoroughly enjoyed your two videos. Hope you continue and make more. ATB.
Thanks for subscribing! It is hard to wild camp in Lincolnshire, so much farm land in use. I think the hammock is handy in the area, as there seems to be plenty of woods that could be a bit more discreet. Hope you manage to have success in the places you have discovered. It is a shame that public transport has gone down the drain while fuel prices are so high. It would have been a perfect time to convert a few people to public transport.
This is a truly lovely video to watch ! The quality of the video editing is so skillful that it transports me to the paths you're taking. Very nice musical accompaniment too. Keep on hiking!
I thought I'd go back to the start Chris and I'm glad I did - I learnt your name. A decent trail I'd say albeit without the big hills. But it's not all about the high tops and views. The walking is good enough. Ha, a bit of a bugger to forget your gas. I've forgotten the tea before - similar! Good to hear of how you started. WE all messed about and had a great old time. Hey, my dad was born in Cleeethorpes and grew up in Barton. I still go up to Humberside to see family. Love it up there. Well, good going. Hope you're well. Mark
Well I'm glad you enjoyed going back over my videos and learning my name! The oddest thing is that ramblebob is a name from college that didn't even have anything to do with enjoying walking! Well I do love Lincolnshire, it's not got the dramatic views but it has understated beauty. Small world then! I will probably do a video sometime for the hike I go along Cleethorpes to the village I grew up in along the coast. Barton is a nice place, the Nev Cole Way passes through there, the first multiday walk I did (James "Nev" Cole set up the rambling group in Grimsby and was part of the kinder scout mass trespass). Thanks for the views!
@@ramblebob1 Yeah, it was good Chris. Nicknames are the most unusual of things. I know the county has its beauty. Hey yeah do that video. As for Barton it is a pretty town - interesting about the way. A pleasure to watch and listen.
