not really when alliances are always filled with non expeirenced players so they can get a feel of the task work and game. they let their defense down then are befuddled when action happens.

It's not that serious lol. But it definitely needs nerfs for how much gold you can farm. The bigger problem is the alliance discord owners themselves who profit thousands every month from people buying priority access to servers they don't even own. I mean, I respect the hustle, but no clue how Rare lets it go on for that long.

You shouldn't get too attatched to your loot, sell often and just change servers if you meet someone you don't want to play with. I understand your frustration, but the threat of losing it all is part of the intended gameplay loop. And in every online game you play there will be better players than you, unless you're an absolute lord. I don't like being sunk either, but that's just the way it is my friend.

Since I've made this comment I've been playing more with my friends and I've actually been on the winning side of the battle now. I still think the penalty shouldn't be as big as it is but I also just play high seas anyways
