How can I pick my favorite hack when their all awesome!!! I struggle with getting glue on small thin pieces of card stock, so I really like the one about spreading out the glue on a sticky note

I've also used wax paper between my vinyl and surface to get it lined up

Where can I find the transfer tape with no grid?

When I bought my first cricut, used, I knew nothing about transfer tape. I made labels for some of my spices. But how to get it onto the bottles. I thought it was stupid to have to apply each letter individually, so I used a bit of painters tape on the front and cut the back halfway down. It was dicey but I got it down. I thought tee had to be an easier way so I looked at RU-vid and saw someone using transfer tape. Now everything made sense

Anyone else have major anxiety during the balloon segment? I really want a blooper reel on that. Did you ever pop the balloon on accident when filming? 😂 Loved the video. So many great tips.

The “k” in “Maker” is fancier than the one in the example that was deleted. How did you get the fancy “k”?

If you have parchment paper, just tear off a section and throw it over your design before you press it. It works just fine and you don't need buy a roll of teflon

Great vid. Here's a tip from me: when weeding large design, instead of peeling partially then cutting extra with scissors, make slits with a cutting tool ( knife, for example) to cut the background ur gonna discard into smaller pieces.. its easier than trying to hold a sticky mess up while trying to cut with a scissors 😅

OOO! I love the hack where you put the "guide" under the glass, to guide you with placing the vinyl on it, for a picture frame.

I use the painter’s tape when I’m applying vinyl to cardstock for a card, for example. When applying the vinyl using the painters’s tape the tape lifts up from the car stick easily without tearing the cardstock.

So much more simpler and easier to use 😅

Great video, and so helpful! Super confusing when you loaded the mat with black Vinyl to cut in hack 1 but then it showed the loaded green marker with cream card stock from hack 2. The specially ordered clear nongrid transfer tape from hack 1 isn't directly labeled or linked below......

Hack #1, I got my Cricut yesterday so I haven’t tried this yet, but wouldn’t it be easier and less hacky to put a little shape in the upper left corner of both layers or draw a box around both so they just automatically line up?

I have done an envelope address by making the rectangle the size of the envelope and attaching my text to it but removing the blade from my Cricut.

Ok…that first cut wasn’t that great even after two passes. Maybe one more pass around or a different cut setting but I love this idea.

Oh Man! That glass hack should be added to Maker U! I struggled with getting my Word Search on the glass correctly, so screen shot my project in DS and dumped the jpeg into Publisher and resized. It wasn’t perfect, but it worked. This is SO much easier!

Thanks for the tips. I need some extr tips for my mats. I use the baby wipes to clean them after I am finished. I am using a lot of paper and going through a lot of mats,. even after cleaning them, they lose stickiness. .Love the contour and the paper guide.
