As you probably already know, mainly because we've shown you cases of it, the world of pet owning isn't as basic as people want you to believe. Not the least of which is that while many people prefer the "simple pets' like dogs, cats, hamsters/gerbils and so on, some people REALLY want to go beyond if you will and try something that is a bit...odd, or exotic, or just plain weird. And if you thought our previous list had some odd creatures and pet owners, we got another to blow your mind. So from hyena owners, to a kid washing a croc, allow us to show you 20 Most Dangerous Animals Kept As Pets Part 2.

I think they're called Wild Animals for a reason?🤔 The alligator is kept in that small enclosure to keep it from dragging someone in its enclosure and doing a death roll. He's not tamed but relies solely on the family for food. They better not allow him near a large body of water, or it's over for someone. 👌🏾 The lion in the bedroom? It's just a matter of time before most of these Wild Animals go WILD!👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Dear Ali Ma, Exactly! You're absolutely right. Crocodiles can never be tamed! Did you see my comment about crocs? I live in Australia and we have lots of crocodiles here, up in the Northern states, which are tropical of course, because Australia is in the southern hemisphere. I live down south, in Melbourne, which is much colder and certainly not tropical. LOL 😅!!! In winter, up in the mountains, it actually snows here. We don't get the wonderful powder snow that they get in Austria, Switzerland and so on, but you can ski here and there are ski resorts in the mountains. Everything here is the opposite to the northern hemisphere. Christmas is in Summer here, so a lot of people in Melbourne have a 'Christmas in July' dinner so they can enjoy eating roast turkey, with all the trimmings - roast potatoes, winter vegetables and gravy 😋, because no one wants that sort of food in summer. Most people have seafood at Christmas time here, like crayfish (which is just like lobster really) and prawns (what American people call 'shrimp,' those big ones) with different salads. Sorry, I don't know where I went there 😅!!! LOL!!! Oh well, I may as well leave it 😅 🙃 🙂 🤣, lots of love ❤ from Amanda in Melbourne xox

A professional owl handler/trainer was hired for the "Harry Potter" series. He was from Seattle and used like, up to a dozen different breeds of owl. Here in Arizona, I've been blessed to be able to shoot a "Great Horned owl" nest. The pair were beautiful, and they gave birth to 3 chicks.

That poor crocodile is stunted which shows that it has been kept in an area that is way to small for it. Which means they are sadly mistreating it, and letting the toddler bend its legs backwards and even drag it by the tail... that poor croc will most likely attack one day and get killed for simply defending itself :(

for it's age, that croc is at a nice weight. yes, i do agree she's stressing the animal in how she handles it, but reptile growth doesn't work the way you think it does, that's a myth that stems from fantasy novels about dragons. not having a large enough enclosure doesn't stunt growth at all, but it is extremely stressful and being able to free roam the house is plenty space for a young croc. it likely won't attack her once they move it into a larger outdoor enclosure as it becomes too large to stay in the house.

Hyenas are Hell on Wheels. They have the hardest bite around. They crack bones for a living. I did work for a lady once in Chatsworth, SoCal. She actually had a Mandrel Baboon in her kitchen. It was kept in a Home Depot, garden fence variety crappy cage. He was young and still black, and super smart and if he was mad and wanted to, you knew that he could destroy it instantly. She was surprised that I knew what he was. So she stands up and goes: "Oh you know what that is." So I said yes, do you?? She say's oh, he's the sweetest thing and puts her hand up to the cage. He reached through, pulled her hand inside and kissed it like a Frenchman. LOL! I asked her if he was going to have the red, white and blue face, and she said: "If he's Alpha." Crazy!

That baby crocodile is taking a lot of punishment from the toddler. Here in Australia we have a very healthy respect for crocodiles, because, up in Northern Queensland, there are lots of massive crocs that would happily eat you. First, they kill you. Then, because crocs like their food to be nice and rotten, they wedge your body under water somewhere! Then, they come back and scarf you down. Also, the sound of an outboard motor - to a crocodile - sounds like another crocodile being aggressive 😳!!! Which is why crocs attack small boats. So why am I telling you this? Because a lot of tourists, including Australian ones, have been killed by crocs and I want us all to be safe. By all means go and see them, and definitely visit the Great Barrier Reef and Northern Queensland, but be careful and be safe. Love from Amanda in Australia xox ❤

I live in the states and our crocs are not very dangerous. They are mainly fish eaters. Same with gators. There have been under 100 attacks in recorded history, not that you can just approach or swim with them carefree like you would a puppy. But everyone knows how dangerous and aggressive saltwater crocs are. Question being, is that a salty? I'm a bit of a wildlife enthusiast, but that ones snout looks odd how it is turned up.

Would this be a Speckled Gharial? Not an expert, but there's 'crocodilian' species that aren't technically, and don't hurt or injure humans; they're very passive and relaxed - Salt-waters for example are not. Definitely could be wrong though, but given the location I'd think Gharial or Caiman before Crocodile.

I think the crocs are dangerous. They don’t have thousands of years of domesticated behaviour somewhere in its mind. They are very unpredictable. They may not even mean to hurt you, but they grow huge! These animals belong in the wild unless they’re I’ll or deformed in some way. You’d have to devote your entire life to caring for them.

Messi was small and sickly as a cub, he never would have made it if it weren't for these two. They were approved to adopt him and are very responsible big cat owners. They live in a much bigger house with a big yard now. He behaves like an overgrown house cat. He is very gentle and very affectionate toward Alexander. He is trained as well! I Am Puma is their channel.

He's a circus animal at this point and that bothers me. I said it as diplomatically as I could but somebody got triggered. It's obvious that Messi is happy and healthy and well cared for as I said here. He is never bored. He and Sasha share a bond and that's a beautiful thing. I mean no disrespect but I'm choosing not to watch it anymore.

Well said sir. As I said above, I owned two Burmese Pythons that grew to over 10 feet long. Are they beautiful, yes. However I wasn't prepared or ready to own snakes that were that big. As you said perfectly, just because you can, doesn't mean you should. After a nasty bite it became clear that again I couldn't handle it. So I gave them to a snake farm owned by my buddy's sister and her partner. The thing that I've learned since then is that some people, especially down south, if they have the same "issues" as I did, they'll release their Pythons into the wild or the everglades and now with people doing that and the snake breeding centers that were destroyed from the Hurricanes, the Python population has become so large that it's actually ruined/destroyed Florida's ecosystem. With few to no natural predators these snakes are free to breed, eat, breed more, eat more and more and more. There has to be a point when we hopefully learn? Maybe?

Hippos also grow to about the size of some rhinoceros. Elephant is even larger and in some places trained but can be very dangerous more powerful than hippo and rhinoceros. Even trained elephants sometimes killed people though.

It also depends on the trainer's methods. Pain and fear are not good methods, but one must know how the species teaches their own young. My father reared a Timber Wolf / German Shepherd hybrid. She was an amazing pack mate who almost died of grief when my father passed suddenly, rarely leaving where he used to sit. Our mother was also a kind alpha, and my sister and I were loved pack mates too her. So with extra love and attention, she have is another few years before she followed her beloved alpha (Daddy), into the Otherworld.

The only times I watched elephants being handled, the guys were mean to them. They all had little sharp sticks in their back pockets and would direct them around with them. I remember being surprised that they were that tender. Rumer had it that one of the elephants squished a guy in the back of a truck there and took off. This was Thousand Oaks, CA in the old days. I remember when they sold the business around '68, a local farmer bought one of their hippos. He had to give it back to a zoo because he couldn't afford the food. A farmer!

There are always exceptions to usual animal behavior. These animals are exceptional. I keep snakes, with respect for them. I am glad you featured Messi the Cougar. He could not survive in the wild as he needs medication and is a lot smaller than others of his breed. His adopted parents are the most dedicated and wonderful people. They live in Russia. I have 2 Burmese Pythons who are lovely snake companions. The girl and her Reticulated Pythons are wonderful together.

Messi the cougar did not grow to full size and could not be released to the wild and was adopted. He's very heavily trained and loved. Stepan the bear as found 29 years ago as a starving cub by hunters and this couple adopted him. He's a very pampered child to the couple. Stepan is a celebrity of sorts and has a modeling career.

I have friends that have wolf dogs, they are all from the same female mixed with a german shepard. And those dogs are actually super friendly and just want loves and cuddles. Nova has a bit of a food stealing problem, Veera is a wanderer, Odin is a bull headed bulldozer and North is a bit of a doofus.. but all in all they are absolute loves and i highly doubt they would ever harm a human

A wild animal that lives in the jungle should be living in the jungle. You never know if they may turn on you. Simply because they are wild animals. Having children around wild animals is just crazy. The giant python one is pretty much fine. That family was clearly taking care of it, and boa constrictors are generally pretty nice especially when taken care of. That snake looked happy around its owners and they had a big enclosure for it

A couple I knew had a wolf as a pet. They also had a three year old daughter. One day the wolf got angry and attacked the little girl. She ended up looking like Frankenstein’s monster with hundreds of stitches in her face and head. They didn’t even get rid of the wolf🤯😱

Remember that show that used to come on years ago on Animal Planet where those pet owners had those dangerous pets that sometimes kjIIed them?! I forgot the name of the show, but it profiled people like this. These people are insane and need to be in an asylum! Often, they put their chjIbren in life-threatening situations and these "unpets" will be problems for other people that never signed up for this...

The reason the cougar is being raised by them is because it has a birth defect, making it much smaller than normal cougars, they were going to put it down, but the couple saved it. And no they do not live in that place anymore they now live in a big house and the cougar goes everywhere with them and is helping them to raise awareness for the plight of cougars everywhere. The cougar has even been through many training classes and I think it is honorable that they took him and saved him. They put Mezzie on Social media to help pay for his care. You do not have to be rude about it.

I think some people think dogs can't defeat a lion in a fight and that's why they would rather have a lion as a pet to defend them from other creatures and that would be tigers or hyenas.
