To be accurate, Olena is a ukrainian ( second generation) immigrant in Siberia. She is playing yakut khomus in yakutian style, but that is not her ancestors culture. Besides in my opinion it is not played in pure yakutian style, she also have a quite distorted representation of what she does. Her playing style sounds more ukrainian for me then yakutian. I think her style a fusion style not yakutian.
Absolutely loved Ilincina Din's song. Didn't understand 1 bit of it, but god what lovely music Romania has and how beauuuuuutifully Ilincina played the pan flute and sung it! Amazing! Anyone here who can point me to the title of the song/lyrics/translation and perhaps the name of the genre or some info on this, that would be massive help! I'm in love with this melodious genre! It feels like folk, but I have absolutely no clue. I can't wait to hear more music from this genre! Magical!
Some are truly talented, some others are creative but there's also the ones that are distasteful, disgraceful, trashy and have lost their dignity (especially the flatulent being)
is the little boy in ''drumforce'' a realistic robot automaton boy? It;s so hard to tell. Some of the world roots music on here, particularly by the women, just welled my eyes up.
As completely stupid as this is, at least the thumbnail wasn't clickbait. Most of these that weren't stupid joke acts are just normal instruments. Throat singing, a jaw harp, the saw, an otamatone, pan flute...
