Hi everyone, this is Frideline Faizoma. I’ve been really embarrassed of this video but I’m starting to see the beauty of what it’s done in my life. I would not be here without prayer and hope. Thank you to anyone who has reached out and gave me words of encouragement. I’m back home physically AND mentally because of you all. Also, I learned the hard way. I’m still praying for discernment, but I went through it and got through it. As a first generation college student, life got really dark after I graduated high school. I lacked guidance and experience on how to navigate the world & made hasty decisions. We all do, but we’re all learning and the least we can do is be there for each other and have some compassion. For those who have supported me, thank you for being my light after the darkness. This is one of my answered prayers. No matter what your beliefs are… there is still light in the darkness. On that note, thank you for helping me find my light. I will invest and make use of this blessing so that I can pass it onto others. As a mom of a 20 yr old I don’t understand how certain parents could leave your child stranded. God will continue to bless this young lady and she will show the world.
I think it's a cultural thing & that's not me downing it but I've heard stories from a different Haitian girl that's kinda similar. Of course I'm not Haitian or judging but listening to the other girl I hear a lot of the same things 😢
It’s not necessarily cultural. There are plenty of parents that will not support their young adult children. And call it tough love. In addition, her mother has trauma that has caused her to be mentally ill. God bless the young lady going forward. This has to be a wake up call on so many levels.
This has nothing to do with culture. We are only hearing her side, not her family side. What young adult travels with no money, and she's still complaining about the place she's waiting at for help. In the Bible, did the prodigal son's father go after him? No, he did not, but he received him with opened once he came to his senses. Jesus added this story to the Bible for a reason. Please study to know the right things to say.
He asked her about abuse. She said she was physically abused. Then he says, "what type of abuse are we talking about?" She says: PHYSICAL ABUSE! Then he goes on to say after she explained the type of abuse, he goes back to ask her did any kind of sexual trauma ever happen to her?!!! DUDE, SHE SAID PHYSICAL ABUSE MORE THAN ONCE AND YOU INSISTED ON ASKING HER ABOUT SEXUAL ABUSE!! WHAT IS YOUR DEAL. SHE BARELY WANTED TO TALK ABOUT THE PHYSICAL ABUSE! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF!!
I agree. That is not something a victim wants to share with a stranger, that much anyway. You ask ONCE, which is too much, you are a stranger! It's not supposed to be about that type of focus for you, bruh. Something personal like that is trauma and should be respected by allowing them to volunteer. Go get some education so you will know how to handle any situation. If she did go through such a thing, why is it something you need or want to know unless you've proven to be trustworthy? She just wants to feel safe and go home. Dude, get educated, you need it in order to deal with different situations properly. If you are there to help, then help genuinely. Someone always use to tell me “friends bring you places, they don’t bring you back” and this is a perfect example of this. I hope this young lady learns her lesson and may God guide and bless her in this journey of life.

Wow she is me. Articulate, lacking love and guidance, trusting, and has a bright energy about herself. She understands the generational curses or her family. She understands the mental health issue and that the adults have unhealthy love patterns and need healing. I am leaning towards a healthier and happier life in my late twenties and I have a loving relationship with my son. I am also back in therapy. These things are helping me heal. I wish the same for her 💕.
Another example of strong resilient educated young people being robbed of a happy and healthy life due to poverty, parent lack of readiness and generational trauma. Smh it’s hard. I think this would be my life (actually even worse) if CPS didn’t take me from my mom. my aunt didn’t raise me. I’m still struggling because I didn’t fully escape the traumatized parenting but I had better opportunities and a better network of supportive people.
For those that haven’t been here long MARCUS made sure she got a flight home ..also He has done this off camera with many ..he always helps even those who may seem sketchy but remember he can only do so much and they have to want to help themselves as well. Sad!!But this is true.I come from a family of generational trauma, mental illness, and lack of support. I knew from a young age that I was on my own. My prayers are going out to this young lady 😢That the most high will send his angels to help. Rescue her from the unknown cause it's a very scary place not knowing where you belong.

I was homeless one time. My parents didn’t care and wouldn’t help me. Trust me when I say they are beyond selfish. If it were not for the kind people who helped me, I would still be on the streets. It’s so hard to get up without a helping hand. God Bless you all for helping her!
Did your parents warn you about the possible consequences of the road/approach you were taking?? I ask because I pleaded, begged my son to change his approach to life, to take more responsibility for himself/actions. After 3 rescues from me I bid him fair well, today he lives in the streets. He's living the consequences of his choice. The bloody fool is an LVN but absolutely useless to self and humanity.

I’m 50 and I created generational wealth for my daughter by purchasing 3 investment real estate properties and land in put them in both of our names when she turned 18 so God forbid if anything happens to me my 21 year old daughter don’t have to do anything illegal or sell her soul to live until she can get on her feet. I have also set an example for my daughter so she can continue to make great decisions in life

This is Absolutely Heartbreaking! And for the ones trying to hold her Adulthood to the fire, you need help! She’s 20 years old, she’s still a child. This is a very intelligent young female, trying and praying for hope! Just because someone turns 18 does not mean “Let them Loose” children still need help and guidance. I have three sons. 22,19, and 17 and I will always be their MOTHER and my home will always be open.

Literally in tears, she reminds me of myself. I was homeless in ATL in 2007 with my children and was almost trafficked by my childrens extended family.I persevered n have raised them successfully. They are grown successful in their own right ❤❤❤Now imma grandma of 3!😊 It wasn’t easy, but it gets better with perseverance!!! Please do an update on this young Goddess❤. you're so right about the empathy and compassion, I had to stop the video halfway through but in the comments I saw where folks are saying that he helped her wit a ticket to get back home. I was thinking that he just wanted her story for youtube views. I had a hard time with this interviewer. I really disliked the way he spoke to her. He was terrible not very empathetic. I had to stop the video and go to the comments to see how things ended with this young girl. I'm happy to read she made it back home.

I believe her. Growin up in a Haitian household my parents were great providers considering the circumstances but emotional support did not exist. And if you embarrassed the family name they had no problem disowning you.
I have a Caribbean mom and this is a whole fact. My mom always told us don’t let no one have to call me fi you. She was a mess but it was so much pressure to put on this prefect persona.
This is the exact reason why I decided to become a therapist. To heal my younger self and those in the same situation I was in. I look at her and see myself at 20. Immigrants, let us normalize getting mental help. We have been through so much and we need to unpack for the sake of our children and our children's children. I too miss my grandmother who recently passed 2 years ago, she adopted me and my sibilings (it's 7 of us in all and I was 2 when she adopted us). I honestly have not nor do I know how to properly process that and grieve correctly. Tbh, I have pushed it to the back of my conciousness because I don't want it to be real. She was my everything and I miss her entirely too much. I want to say a lot more, but i would have written 2 novels on here about time I'm done; so I'll just continue to suffer in silence and smile with my head held high until the day God calls me to sleep forever. This is so true. I can remember being her age thinking all people were good. It took one person to do me dirty, and life has never been the same. You move on, you heal, you still give people chances. However, chances are far and few in-between. You never trust people the same way again. This is so relatable. I do pray for her spirit and her bright future. I’m from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. There isn’t a lot of support for young people in South Florida, particularly in Fort Lauderdale. Family dynamics are often strained with generations of people fighting against each other for “limited resources”. Throw international migration, interfamily cultural differences and poverty into the mix and it can easily feel like a hopeless situation. Education cleared a path towards peace and stability for me.
This really touched my heart because she’s a beautiful girl, speaks well and trying to find her way in life. At 20, you are still a baby! And sometimes we can be naive about friends and this is an example. I never really send money to folk from youtube but I prayed as I watched this video and asked God to keep his arms around her with protection and guidance! I would love to speak to her and help her as much as I can🫶🏾
Her mother didn’t have the money to bring her back. Her mother got evicted after the dad abandoned them so she’s struggling too. They just don’t have it. At 20 years old, she’s grown and has to find a way to start surviving on her own. Calling her mom and dad isn’t always the answer because they have bills to pay too

Can someone confirm she's back at home??? I mean really where is home she did say her mom blocked her and didn't have a place to stay herself. 🤷🏽♀️ I think one of the reasons she left home was to hopefully find herself in a better situation than what she was dealing with. Obviously she was running from the life she was living at home but the grass wasn't green on the other side and she found herself in a very compromising and potentially dangerous situation.

This happened to me in Orlando FL. My own blood sister and her friend tried to get me trafficked. Long story short. I ended up running away by faking a heartache the cops picked me up took me to a safe place,questioned me about the men I ran from. I was like this woman. I hope she get home safe.
I can relate to this young lady I’m older but went through a major storm time in my life. After the hurricane that hit us I got flooded out of my apartment and there was literally no where to go for a long time. I’m safe and doing so much better❤🙏Prating for this young lady.

No matter the situation, I got you as a mother. I would've done anything to get my child home right when they asked. Great job getting her home

This girl is no fool she is very articulate and intelligent.. she doesn't belong on the streets and i pray she makes it home safe and supported..her mom does need psychological help to not be worried about her own daughter..they want her to do it all alone and and are selfish...i empathize with her because my family did this to me when i was almost trafficked by a friend who convinced me to move to Florida and i was stranded...not one family member offered help when i reached out...and i forgive them but they will never see me again ..i just stayed and build here and didn't see them in years..this is sad because she is young..i was already 32

At 26 years old my second daughter is still living at home for free. I would love to have contact this young lady. She needs more than money, she needs love and attention.

My daughter recently asked me to fly her to Atlanta to celebrate her sweet 16 with a old school friend. I could have a conversation with her mom and they can pick her up from the airport. I told her " Hell no" Don't ask me again. Anyway. These kids are young and don't know the dangers.

She's smart but too young to make smart decisions and still needs guidance. She's still a child and had no business taking a trip with anyone. She's also a forever victim. She traveled with no money? Her step dad blocked/mom blocked her? She's on bad terms with everyone? Why? She needs to join the military and get away. That's her free ticket to a new life.
@@XiiXiByNikki That's why I said the military is a free ticket. Because regardless of who is at fault, it seems she doesn't have the support she needs as the child she still is. She said she did well in school...3.9 but there was no scholarship apparently. Six people in one room at home. There is no money or time for her needs...especially if $200 couldn't be scrambled together to get her home. There is more to the story.

When she got to talking about her mom at the end it broke my heart especially being a child who’s mom constantly blocks them and never available mentally or emotionally I have 4 kids of my own and couldn’t imagine not showing up for my kids rather mentally physically or emotionally and I for dang sure couldn’t imagine blocking one of them I pray this baby finds peace understanding and genuine love may god continue to cover her on her healing journey
This girl was tricked not a drug addict or a run away or prostitution. She was tricked and it’s a sad story. He keep cutting her off just to get a interview!! She smart, she is beautiful and she needs to get home. Kinda make you wonder how many people have been trafficked living in another state that’s been on missing posters!!
The majority of them. Atlanta has one of the highest sext trafficking rates for black women this young lady’s age group. It happens constantly on Atlanta. The woman definitely was in on it. This girl is lucky to have been able to get away and not end u dead. They don’t usually let the girls go. They bodies often turn up weeks later. These traffickers were inexperienced thank god. Parents who don’t protect their daughters make them easy target just like this. Sad.
This poor child was raised in a narcissistic household…. She needs to focus on her own healing…. Sadly to say her family is only going to break her down to the point that she’s going to have some serious mental illness. 😞❤️🙏🏽

I have literally watched every 1 of your videos. But this is the very first 1 that has me crying and wishing I could give her a big hug. I have donated once before.
