Oh my god! I am coming on an exploratory trip to Cambodia from California.and now there is so much more.. Thank you😮 for showing all the new developments Just delicious. Very suave. I’ve been subscribed to ur channel for at least 6-10 months. I’m a 71 female wanting to set up a second home base probably in Siem Reap but we shall see. Cambodia has a very “Suave” ( soft but it also can mean cool, or zen). Total contrarian to pub street. I grew up in Mexico from the age of 11-30 so Cambodia doesn’t shock me. I want to say that your villa is perfect and so is Autumn’s in Cambodia place. I love all the wood work that u see on all the doors in apartments and houses. What are the popular native woods Cambodian work with and what are so many of the doors made out of, do you know?

@@ForRiel Don't plan on buying any vitamins or supplements there. Prices are ridiculous, they Make Tops and Villa (the most expensive markets in Thailand) seem reasonable in pricing. Angkor Market is over the top in pricing. Let me know if you find anything that's somewhat affordable. Thanks.

Wow!! Fabulous video, those galleries and cafes were gorgeous! Would love to come and live there and start a business but I have three dogs and I am worried for their safety as I saw some posts on forums talking very negatively about pet dogs and their safety.

Yes, unfortunately it is very difficult to bring dogs here. They do get stolen so you'd want a place with a big fence and strong security. It's also very tricky to walk them as there are so many street dogs. Thanks for watching 😊🥳🙏

Sorry I missed the premier. Thanks for the video. A lot of good info I can use for my next trip. I'll have to find it all on a map and decide where to rent. (I didn't think tourism had improved much, but my favorite hotels are booked for December and even January looks busy.) I will be going out to Prek Toal 1st week of December or early January if you're interested. Cheers!

Oh wow, it's good to hear that hotels are filling up. Last year's high season was really disappointing for many businesses here. We'd love to visit Prek Total! We'll be travelling / cat sitting in December but January would be fantastic 😍

Oh god! Koi lol. I always get dragged to Koi in Bangkok, and Aeon mall in PP. We fly up to see new airport in November for couple days before go Battabang lol. (Not couple days in the airport, I am getting dragged to the hard rock as well apparently 🤣)

Claire wonderful as always with all your tips & information. 😊Last time you entered Cambodia was it the tablets at immigration at the airport in SR? I did see where other people said it's all tablets now in PP & you just pay the $30 USD cash for the sticker for visa, the physical paperwork is no longer? Wondering if you still tip the officers for good gesture or would that be considered rude now that everything is on tablets. Cambodia really is so much more advanced than other people give credit for. Thank you for your advice!

Yes, the online system seems to be working well now they have ironed out the teething problems. You can do the online form on your phone prior to arrival so you don't have to queue for a tablet. Definitely no need to pay any extra, just the $30 for a tourist visa or $35 for an ordinary (or E type visa).

That really depends on your budget and where you want to be. Do you like big hotels or smaller boutique places? There are hundreds of hotels here and the vast majority are excellent.

Technically, an onward ticket is not required, however the airlines get involved and mess things up. Be ready to buy an onward ticket or use one of the ticket holding sites if it is requested.

Contact Baby Elephant and ask - they sometimes do. I think Treetop Bungalows will allow pets, but I would also check with them before booking.
