The most unusual house I’ve ever lived in was owned by a narcissist and room-mating with someone of this nature was like a scene out of the twilight zone. I called it Nightmares On Franklin St. 😂😂😂
Very interesting information and wonderful photography. But, the animation between segments is excellent and entertaining and definitely urge my return. Thanky.
I'm a retired insurance agent with a 35 year career of selling property and casualty insurance. This house undoubtedly had no insurance. Unless there was a mortgage attached to it, and if I was their agent I would have brokered it through Lloyd's of London.
@letitiakeller6704 Lloyd's of London has many specialty markets that they can place hard to insure properties. (Or even body parts. Many celebrities have policies through them, so that if a part of their body, which is their money maker, becomes damaged or amputated, Lloyd's can insure that certain body part to pay out the amount agreed upon. Betty Grable had her legs, which she was famous for in the 40s, imsured for a million dollar's, through Lloyd's. Other celebrities, including sports figures, have similar policies, for disfigurement. Lloyd's also writes less spectacular policies as well. I had a client who wanted to have a water bed in her rented modular home. Waterbeda were not allowed by the apartment management. They were concerned of water damage in case the bed became damaged and leaked. I wrote for carriers that, although were usually pretty open to unusual high risk situations, but balked at providing coverage. So, I turned to Lloyd's, who agreed to the risk and the i wrote the policy. As far as this house, I'm not saying Lloyd's would write it, no questions asked. They would have questions. Have there been any losses? What experience does the builder have with this type of home? So the answer is yes, most likely there is a market out there, but it would be pricey
My favorite choice would be Frank Lloyd Wright homes. I have seen many of his homes including his home on the California coast line in Carmel. That home was featured in the Movie "A Summer Place" and they all are remarkable.
2:17 i don't gave a F*** if that house fall off ...is f*n Gorgeous with that indoor pool & the views ahhhh , is like living in heaven , thats the BEST HOUSE in this video, JUST gorgeous & modern HELL f*n ya i living there👌👍
Check the Blue Ridge Mountains in GA, SC, GSM in NC, TN and look in VA! Trust me, you will pay big bucks for it! I’d go for a small cabin with a jacuzzi - there is many of those all over! Yes I’m very near all of this and I’m looking! But just for a cabin to retire to! PS Watch out for the Bears!
I just want to keep my house of 23 yrs.Dont lose a spouse, get sick, can't work, need HELP..etc ( after saving strangers lives for 23 yesrs,in ICU,etc.. yes,I'm bitter..),cld lose everything . What Kardashian spends on a purse in a day could save our lives... & many others even less fortunate. kwim.ok, not to be Debbie Downer. I was just watching these videos but then your comment hit me hard. I wouldn't go for the mountains & the pool..I'd be afraid of the beasts & isolation.lol. but, that 'house' on that puffin island- maybe for a long weekend, at least U cld boil water, make instant coffee😊
@@Dani-ICU-RN I hope you don’t lose a spouse either because I speak from experience, it sucks. Lost my husband 08/2019. Renal failure, Heart disease, CIDP, Calciphylaxis, Peritoneal infection. We found out on a Tuesday in hospital that he could not be saved. In hospital Hospice and he was gone the following very early Monday a.m. I still wake up in the middle of the night to tinkle and look over for him . . . You do that after a 35;year marriage. 💔
It's not a scary house but very interesting. You might want to check out The Church In The Rock, Idar - Oberstein, Germany. Very interesting story of how it came about. Also interesting is that Bruce Willis is from Idar - Oberstein, Germany.
The guy with the plastic bubble could fish from the top of the bridge without getting wet at all. He should buy a chicken and give it to her. Then he'd have eggs and fish. 😂 ❤
19:16 only in Norway, does a slab of Earth and a bunch of homes disappear into the sea, yet no one is hurt.. beautiful country beautiful people timer as well as Finland and you know what i mean;)
Just guessing but that house on the cliff is an AI image and does not exist. It's a little suspicious that one of the lawn chairs is literally levitating on top of the pool that could only possibly be 2 feet deep.
Where is this house supposedly owned by a billionaire techie? It doesn't show up on Tineye's reverse image search. How does a person reach it? Don't see any means of ascending/descending. Or maybe it's all just photoshopped.
Personally, I think that house sticking out of the cliff is not only risky but just UGLY. Just shows that people with too much money don't always have great style sense at all.
Or it just means they have a creative mind and can think outside the box and means your very narrow minded to think that your sense of style is the only good style just because you think it's ugly to another it's not
@@jadepritchardBeing "creative" is subjective and I am not the only one who has eve mentioned that these ultra modern building are "ugly" or don't fit in with the buildings around them . Maybe they wouldn't look so ugly if they were in with other buildings like them. Yes, I personally find modern looking buildings as cold and sterile , lacking warmth , especially for a home. Business buildings, sure make them modern, they belong in the cities . But for a home, there should be a feeling of warmth and family feeling to them. As for the ones built out on a cliff, well, that just seems foolish in earthquake California.
The San Andres Fault will split into and make California an island. Unfortunately, it will still be a member of the US. Good point is, there will be far less illegal immigrants coming into California. Then all those people who bought oceanside property in Arizona will see a HUGE increase in the value of their homes.
Illegals work harder than MAGAts. That’s why we’re replacing Trump voters with illegals. California literally drives the economy for the rest of the country. We’re getting tired of supporting you. We wish we could be our own country, believe me. The rest of the US would literally be third world without California. Twelve percent of the country lives in our state for good reason. It’s the best place to live, and hence the most expensive.
ALL. OF THESE HOUSES ARE WEIRD. AND. NOT FOR ME LIKE BUILT. ON A HIGH MOUNTAIN AND. YOU HAVE TO CLIMB A. LONG LADDER DAMN I. WOULD BE GIVEOUT WHEN I. REACH. THE TOP ESCPECIALLY IF YOULL SCARED OF. HEIGHTS AND YOU HAVE WREAK BONES AND GETTING A. CRAMP AND FALLING WAY BELOW SHIT. IF. YOU FORGET SOMETHING DAMN AND HAVE TO DO IT AGAIN CLIMBING ALL THE WAY BACK UP. THAT LADDER I. WOULD BE SO DAMN TIRED I. COULD NOT DO IT TWICE OR. IF YOU GET THE SHITS OR PISS REAL BAD HALF. WAY THEN. YOU BEGIN GETTING A. CRAMP AND CANT MOVE AND YOU NEED TO PISS OLE. HELL NO. I. M GETTING TIRED JUST TALKING ABOUT IT NO WAY DUDE
The cocoon under the bridge..... "riskiest houses"? The house at the side of the cliff, where is that? Owned by a tech billionaire? Who? With a pool that is more of a puddle, looks made up/photoshopped. The iconic fallingwater by frank lloyd wright one of the riskiest houses? WTF? You sir are the one fishing for views, not the guy under the bridge 🤦♂️
2:49 Im sure theres 50,000 sq feet indide the safety ofthe mountain, with emergency shoots and slides down to the bottom where there is some kind of underground bunker or Panic Room and this person will survive ..but ironically, won't need any money, cuz there'll be no one left .lol .jk
Just found this video on YT: UGLINESS IS A DISEASE: How Ugly Architecture & Environments Harm Us, presented by channel Heaven Sent Honey. Highly recommend!!!
