How great to see a '55 Chevy that's not a trailer queen. Is it a 210? These cars were so ahead of their time and you've kept the vibe, love the retro-modern dash and the great v8 sound. I also love old 66, used to live near there and drove it often, fond memories and a great video.

California's Route 66 is sparsely populated with barren areas, bringing back memories of 20 mule team Borax advertising on b/w tv, son got Mao out to find Daggett and Calico. Elmers bottle tree ranch in Barstow, creativity in CA! Cajon Pass has an interesting history for Mormons and horse thieves, going to & from San Bernardino, keeping the National Old Trails road part of our highway 66 history!! More fun! Thanks for the tour!!

You missed,, ghost town Road, south ,and right back on the 66 left is Peggy Sue’s Drive in 50s souvenir store, and north on ghost town Road,,, is calico ghost town, next time go there. And then come back through Barstow on the old road and go over the brand new concrete bridge over the on first avenue, just finished thanks BigAl California

Did you come across Tom's Burgers in Barstow that used to be our stop when I was a kid my family and I would be traveling back to L.A. from Arizona I haven't been around most of these areas since I was a teenager in the late 90's

We had a mohawk gas Station in my town in the 60s til the 80 s , not a store just gas and diesel and tires and service, it had 24 pumps I think , on 466 to Mojave, thanks BigAl California,, p.s. I’m looking for a 1955 roller not pretty 1955 chevy car, if you find one , I have real good bones ol trucks in the 60/70s thanks
