the cameras in stray only respond to your meows during the start of the game, because its B12 guiding you towards him. Once B12 leaves the network, the cameras stop working
Astros Playroom was an easter egg delight. Going into it I had no clue what to expect but I heard it was a pretty damn fun game. First character I ran into was Crash Bandicoot and suddenly Aloy, then suddenly I picked up a PS3 controller and it became apparent that this was, by far and large, about to be the most PlayStation game to ever PlayStation a PlayStation. There were certain games and characters I couldnt identify, but I recognized about 90% of most of the references.
yeah, they mention "Playstation All-Stars" but the easter egg is definitely about Mortal Kombat. By "greatest musician of all time" I assume it could be talking about Rain, the purple color swap for Scorpion and Subzero, since he is a nod to the real life singer Prince.
Kratos's "I fought in many contests" is a reference itself. In addition to Playstation All-Stars, he fought in Mortal Kombat X and Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny, along with being part of a Hot Shots game, LittleBigPlanet and ModNation Racers.
now imagine if they added kratos' storyline from mortal kombat, there may not be much hints about him ending up or coming back from it but he could definitely share the story himself
5:44 you can also find a firefly pendant that has the name "Druckley" on the back and the name Druckley is a combo of tlou directors Bruce Straley and Neil Druckman. It can be found in chapter 9 after you solve the water puzzle and open the door to the next area, follow the path to the right. Search along the right side to spot a hidden grapple point and use it to swing over to a cave on the far side of the cavern
I actually found a different Easter Egg with the Vita part in the Last of Us 2. If you zoom in on the screen after you kill the player, it actually says "You died." or "You're dead." on the screen. Forget which one. But it was a while ago.
There was another uncharted reference in the last of us part two, inside the bank vault if you look around you can find Nathan’s ring in one of the drawers.
Ghost of thushima is my personal favorite PlayStation exclusive and my favorite Easter eggs are the shrines on the dlc island where if you do a certain task you unlock outfits referencing games like GOW, bloodborne, etc
you can also find the inFamous second son headband in the game and wear it, you can also find Aloy's outfit from horizon zero dawn in the archer class in the multiplayer, along with a cooper clan headband in the nothern region of the map
3:44 as a sly cooper fan, I was so happy when I heard that song when playing the game. There's also drawings of the sly cooper gang and logo at a playground
Back to Uncharted 4, one of my favorite missable dialogues is when they’re at a market, you can go to where a line for passports are being made or checked. Nate and Sully mention their time in Arstotzka, a reference to the indie classic: “Papers, Please”
1:15 I think the reason why she says that is because she either doesn't want you to continue with the story or hopefully she wants you to make the right choices
Fun fact. Once I platinumed GOW and GOW ragnarok I traveled back to my in game house both times and stuck my axe in a tree. So I guess me and all the other GOW players are the reason alloy found this Easter egg lol.
funny because the description of the tournament Kratos fought in could also apply to Mortal Kombat. Only thing I was stuck on was who wouldve been the musician from that world 🤔
ghost of tsushima had so many easter eggs on iki island. like finding a god of war shrine with kratos axe, to getting aloy outfit from horizon forbidden west
Just to clarify, the astronaut in Returnal is not a secret nor an easter egg, it's part of the story (the ability to resurrect after you die in a run is literally a small trinket of "the astronaut"), the sooner you realize he is actually always following, the more you get confused, but that game's story is a mindfuck and i'm not gonna spoil who the astronaut is, or why he is there :)
It's not just game related, but I loved that in TLOU live show the lighter Tess uses to explode everything is exactly the same as Sam owns in Uncharted 4.
Stray actually has a better easter egg and it is when you get the purple beam thing to protect you from the Zurk? things... anyway the doc who helps you restore the high power torch says it requires 1.21 gigawatts, which is a reference to Back to the Future.
There is "Death Stranding" easter egg in "Cyberpunk 2077". If i remember right, it was a sidequest about a murder case with the exiled cop. In a labrotary we go with him if you search every room you find a "BB".
What about in Days Gone, you can have your petrol tank in the style of Sam's bike's petrol tank from Uncharted 4. Or a Horizon Zero Drawn themed petrol tank or a Death Stranding one where you have that baby inside the petrol tank.
I really hate it when RU-vidrs use misleading title cards. The title card for this shows Miles Morales encountering Kratos' axe. Having played the Miles Morales game, I was curious how you get that. But the video doesn't show it, so I'm assuming it's not in it at all. So it winds up being misleading bait. Please don't do this.
When mimir asked about Kratos battling in tournaments. I thought the reference was to mortal kombat because the mk games are solely tournament based and of course Kratos was a playable character in mk 9. Just my theory though
In the last of us 2 when you need to find gas if you got to the bank (the big tower to the right for were you came from when you go inside and explore further you will find inside one of the deposit boxes you will find Nathan drake's ring 6:21
The question mimir asked about the tournament, i always thought it was Mortal Kombat. Due Rain heavily linked to a Prince song Purple Rain. Because one of its creators was a prince fan.
I wish theyd add tlou part 1 on ps plus extra cause i really dont wanna pay $80 to replay it a 20th time but i would love to re-experience it with updated controls
FACT CHECK: The reason for the Horizon/Death Stranding easter eggs, is because Guerilla (who made Horizon) helped Hideo Kojima get back on his feet after leaving Konami. One of the things they did was send him a thumb drive containing the Decima engine that they used to make Horizon, so that Kojima would have an engine to create Death Stranding with. The easter eggs in Horizon were a show of respect to Kojima, the easter eggs in Death Stranding were a show of gratitude to Guerilla.
In the last game there’s a last of us Easter egg where two bots mimic Joel and Ellie while a clicker was down the hall. Obviously it’s another bot acting like a clicker, but still
There is also a dead stranding baby container in cyberpunk 2077, if I recall correctly you’ll encounter it in the lab while doing the “the hunt” mission
In my school vr game in the latest mission called holy hell theres 5 Easter eggs at the end 4 on pipp livestream and 1 at the end cutseen for the 4 on the livestream relic renegade 2014 is a reference to knack next is Jesus yamato who is a reference to kira yamato from Gundam seed next is absolute 0 who is sub zero from MORTAL KOMBAT and finally is the black devil who is ein dalton from mobile suit Gundam iron blooded orphans and for the final cutseen easter egg is when Izzy been cleaning the unknown head and torso and it revealed to be Goalius the way he looked was nearly identical to the calisto protocol dlc the final transmission
