I have been wearing Herod for years , I tried Devine Vanille and was really surprised how close it smells to Herod. I would definitely consider adding DV for the price point.

silky wood elixir have a sample of it to me it s more balsamic and woody. You get more guaiac Wood and spice. Need more testing to see if i want to buy full bottle, but it seems promising.
I’m so happy you mentioned Angelique Noire, my first vanillic veil love - which remains my most beloved fragrance in my entire collection. 🥰 If I was forced to keep but one fragrance in my entire collection, this would be the one. 🤎
I am so glad you've included Vanille Antique by BYREDO. It's my current favourite! Gourgeous fragrance! However, I have the impression it is slightly less intense than it was originally....hopefully L'Oreal did not mess up with the formulation!
Vanilla is my absolute best note, so is coffee and caramel. I have just ordered more coffee and I cant wait to receive it! I am always looking for the best milky coffee gourmand perfumes.
Babycat is so beautiful, the incense draws me to pair it with Delina Exclusif. One of my most complimented combos. Benz Black is my dad's FAV frag to wear in the winter! A favorite vanilla that has me in love right now is Spiritueuse Double Vanille -- need try Vanille Planifolia !
I would add angels share and eye of seven hills to the list. I have kayali sugar patchouli and gentle fluidity gold, the idea of layering is interesting

Big fan of Vanilla Diorama, Vanagloria and Althair. Looking forward to smelling Promises, Promises by Kerosene. It's supposed to be vanilla, amber and musk.
Vanilla is soooo good. I recently did get Amore Cafe, it’s great. I also got Babycat as well, what can I saw, great vanilla with suede and spicy’s. Both are great for vanilla lovers.
I've tried both Goldfield and Banks silky woods and elixir. Original is softer and creamier, I do like the elixir for a richer, more beast mode scent with oud.
Absolutely agree! I just purchased it and actually prefer it over Babycat. Eau The Audacity is a little sweeter but ultimately smells almost identical to Babycat. I believe they share the same perfumer
Oooh, I feel like this list was made especially for me! I’m a Vanilla lover, and spicy vanillas are my favorite vanilla fragrances. I already have (and am wearing today!) TF Tobacco Vanille. I’ll have to try some of the others on this list.
I generally am not crazy about vanilla forward fragrances. I love it as a background player in a lot of fragrances though. But when I tried Absolute Aphrodisiac, something magical happened! I loved it! Such a classy ethereal vanilla scent. I didn’t get much animalic property that people are talking about this one. Super fantastic! I will get a full bottle if I can get it with a good deal 😊
From your 20 listed scents i have already testes 17 and i really like vanilla, nearly in every kind of way. Wonderful note for nearly every occasion. Also one of my favourites is Dans Paris by Celine
I am a vanilla lover but I kinda hate the uber gourmand kind- I will say something shocking- I hate the opening of Tihota although it becomes beautiful after about 3 hours... I love Vanilla 28, SDV, Vanille de Havane, the ones that smell like vanilla extract:-)
To my nose Vanagloria is liquid smoke. If there's vanilla present it gets overwhelmed by the incense. Babycat has become my signature-scent. Sadly it's damned expensive and difficult to find. It's mystery in a bottle. Think Bogie wandering through the Casablanca Soukh. That's the vibe I get from it.
Lune Féline is more like Loubirouge than Eau Duelle- they have the same perfumer. The Loubirouge is LF Lite with a bit of Iris. To me, Eau Duelle is more like Ani..

Sebastian help please!!! I’m trying to find a vanilla that’s clean, smells like vanilla bean but not in a cakey buttercream way with the addition of woods. My favorite vanilla smell is from beekman 1802’s body care line called vanilla absolute. The notes are: Top: Sheer Lily, Dewy Muguet, Orange Middle: Vanilla, Golden Amber Base: Sandalwood, Cedar, Patchouli Do you think you can help point me in the right direction?
So funny I love love spicy perfumes but I’ve been looking for a vanilla, one I’ll love but then they’re all mixed with spices which is is also nice, but I want just a vanilla. where I smell that the most ? Does that make any sense !? Ha
I have Rifaaqat by Paris Corner on my wish list. It’s supposed to be super close to Babycat. Has Club Black been discontinued? If so, that might explain the price
