If anyone gets angry for you not putting on eyeshadow 20 times...ridiculous is the word. I can barely get away with one. Thanks so much for this, much appreciated ❤
Hey charlotte Thank you for all of the beautiful recommendations ❤ I'm just starting my one and done eyeshadow collections and the Dior Beige Mitzah came in the mail today and when I say it blended itself IT BLENDED ITSELF😊 my eyeshadow application definitely leaves a lot to be desired but when I took a crease brush it this shadow after laying it on the lid in like 1 second it looked so seamless and shimmering I highlighted with a little champagne eyeshadow stick under the brow bone and inner corner and I love the look Just wanted to thank you yet again for bringing this to my attention Love from Jamie-Alligator MS ❤❤
So many of these are out of stock, so they clearly are very popular shades! I like cream single shadows because they don't have fall out like powder ones. I have managed to stop all creasing by applying mac paint pot painterly underneath. I think the charlotte tilbury shades would crease on my lids without it. The paint pot is much better than foundation or concealer, because the consistency is stiffer and does not melt even if you get some oil on your lids during the day. I'm not kidding the pot lasts 5 years. Even if youtubers constantly discard any cream makeup that's separating from the edges, I say it's perfectly usable still if the application of your lid is still easy with your fingers. Of course don't use any makeup that smells bad or causes skin irritation. I remember my Milani eye base causing irritation quite soon but mac has been far more better in this for me at least. I don't wear makeup every day so it means so much if the product is usable for years rather than months. I prefer "normal" makeup over the green/"non-toxic"/natural beauty so that I'm not having to constantly replace my makeup because it starts to smell or change after six months.
I also bought dior beige mitzah because of the Michelle wang effect. It’s my most used shadow. For daytime, I use a brown liner and just use my finger to tap a thin layer on, and I think it’s just the most sophisticated luminous effect.
You could show clips from previous videos when you’re wearing the eyeshadow. I saw another creator do a similar video where she said she was filming everyday that week, in the same outfit, but that way each day was a new eye shadow application then she stitched it all into one video. With your hair in a ponytail we would never know it’s a different day.
I bought the Dior shadow on your recommendation and it did not disappoint. Absolutely beautiful. I love a single eyeshadow. Mac do some beautiful single shadows for one and done eye looks, typically the neutral shimmery shades give the best result. Mac dazzle shadow in ‘yes to sequins’ is stunning!
I'm more of palette person, but this has made me want to try the one and done look. I know my mum only does one and done shadows as she doesn't really know how to use makeup, so might get one of these for her
Nars single shadow in Madrid, KVD Dazzl Stick in Lash Storm 30 and a sheerer Application from the Roen 52 Degree Palette looks absolut stunning. Tom Ford single creme shadows also are great. My space Cowboy is in an older on, in another package i love it always. Thanks Charlotte
Thank you for your thorough listing of the shades and links. Also, I appreciate your listing of what makeup your wearing as well as nail color and clothing. ❤
Have you tried the Revlon Colorstay Creme Eyeshadows? (I know it's drugstore but bare with me lol) They came out ages ago, but some are still available here and there. I first saw them on Nikki's channel (La Rose) not long ago, she showed us Caramel and said it's up there with Charlotte Tilbury - I purchased Creme Brulee, very subtle colour, ideally I wanted Praline but it wasn't available (but it is available on UK Amazon I saw) HOWEVER my in-laws are in the US at the moment so they're getting Praline for me! Very excited 😁😁 Thank you for a lovely video with absolutely gorgeous eyeshadows!! The one you're wearing in this vid (sunlit glow) is an absolute stunner!
I would like to see also some coral colors or something more warm leaning colors because it doesn’t suit me so dark brown eyeshadow . One and done eyeshadow that I like is from Sisley- silky coral . What do you think about Sisley as a brand ?
That last shadow and the one you are wearing 😍😍 I need them. But seriously every single shadow you showed was gorgeous. Thanks for the recommendations.
❤absolutely love and am collecting the CT eyes to mesmerise (9 shades) and Lisa's liquid lurex eyeshadow(11 shades). My favourite shades from CT are oyster pearl and Exagger Eyes, amber gold; favourite shades from LE Viola, Titania, Emily. A hidden champion for me are the shiseido pop powder gel single eyeshadow, favourite shades horo-horo silk and suru-suru taupe😊
No it would be crazy painful to put 20 eye shadows on your lids I can't even imagine or want to ❤ thanks for sharing this video beautiful eye shadows ❤
LOVE this !! so many favourites here since i’m not at all an eye shadow palette person ! i have a few quads & a rare couple of quints but i tend to see them as multiple singles hahhaha. your first & last are among my top faves too, but my dior favourite is actually a discontinued fusion mono in a shade that may have been limited edition (not sure) : it’s 751 infinity & was part of a christmas collection possibly in 2017 (??) the beige mitzah is the powder version of infinity & they are both soo gorgeous. i like hourglass shadows as well, both the scattered lights as well as the new curator eye shadows. don’t you sometimes wish you have more eyes or faces so you can wear more products when you’re torn between choices !? 😂 💗
Well.....finally found a Pat McGrath product that I love! Because of this video the Smugglers Spice single pigment.....it's every bit as glorious as you said. LOVE it!
You definitely have a favorite colourway throughout the whole bunch... I have and really like the Lisa Eldridge ones, I want more. 😮 I like Pat McGrath's liquid eyeshadow as well (similar, but different) I have been interested in trying the Bobbi Brown singles... that Charlotte T. green tho. 🎉🎉🎉
Beige Mitzah is AMAZING! I love cheetah by chantecaille. I use it all the time to brighten up the middle of the lid or to highlight the inner corner. Hourglass Shattered light in Ray is unbelievable and Bobbi Brown luxe eyeshadow in Sunstone. I’ve had some creasing issues with the CT but I plan to keep playing with them. If I can get them to work more predictably for me, sunlit glow will be coming home. It looks gorgeous on you!
Brilliant review, as always, Charlotte!❤ Right, that’s me sorted for Christmas day this year. I spend so much time faffing around with the turkey that my eyeshadow always suffers, so Urban Decay Moondust and a bit of mascara, et voila! Brilliant! Have a great day ❤xx
I love one and done pots and have lots of your favourites. Have you tried any Oulac pots? Amazon have a good range, the peachy ones are my favourite but they are all good and I like them as much as CT ones ❤️
Loved the video, dear Charlotte, very good!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Also love the CT Sunlit here so much! And more that you mentioned! More? Wow, you know better i think. I also love the PMG liquid shadows, which is special, because i mostly react allergic to her powder shadows. Further Lexi Jong recommended Violette Fr, also very beautiful! And thanks so much for your recommendations, this is such a video to watch back, and back!!! Have a wonderful day!!!😘😘😘😘😘😘
You have such great taste! I love the Lisa Eldridge as well, my faves are Lauren, Diana, Liza, Maya, Viola and Cressida…..I definitely love a warmer shade, cooler tones don’t tend to suit me as much. They end up looking muddy or out of place on my skin tone.
I’ve been reaching for these all the time lately. I have the Ilia liquid powder eye tints (matte and chromatic) which are beautiful, don’t crease and last as long as I need.
Hi Charlotte, love this topic. I need me some Dior apparently 😂. My fav one and done are VB tearose and hourglass scattered light in smoke and reflect.
This weekend I worked as a scene host/announcer. Eight hours of stress, being on the toes and regularly sweating in the spotlight and I decided to wear LE liquid lurex. I usually get creasing because I have greasy and hooded lids but it didn’t budge at all. I am utterly impressed by the performance and I need to have more shades (I have four atm).
I have greasy eyelids myself, partially hooded. My experience with LE Lurex is only positive. Easy to use (fast ;) ) & reliable. Though 8 hours might be too much for my eyes, I think it starts doing a disappearing act on me after 6ish hours.
Thank you so much, loved this! Curious to try that last Dior shade you showed :) Also curious to try the new Victoria Beckham eyeshadow sticks! I highly recommend Chantecaille Elephant too 💕
Thanks for reviewing beautiful Charlotte! I get my eyeshadow recommendations from you! 🥰I got both of the VB you showed and they're just gorgeous! I've been eyeing the LE in Emily, and I've also put my name on the waitlist for the Dior Beige Mitzah. I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day! Sending you love! ❤😘
Great video, very timely for me! Looking to get some one-and-done palette alternatives to speed up the morning process. Have you tried Armani? I've heard others speak about these as well. Definitely looking to get one or two CT soon!
Have you been peeping at my emails?! I just ordered my first Lisa Eldridge liquid shadow a few days ago (in Daphne) and I can’t wait to try it! Spot on with your timing. 😁
Yeah no one does duochrome and multichromes like indie brands!! I own a whole 32 pan palette full of touchofglam eyeshadows and I love them all. You should definitely try clionadh cosmetics and terramoons! I LOVEEE both of their eyeshadows so so so much and they're some of the most gorgeous eyeshadows I own! Please check them out!
My "one and done" is so lame! It's MAC Quarry. Because it's the perfect purply taupe "shadow-like" matte colour I ever found. Mind you, I'm a man way past his Urban Decay "Midnight Cowboy" years so I don't necessarily want my makeup to be seen. Just noticed. And Quarry is just perfect for that. It just gives that definition that some - but not many - were born with.
@@CharlotteHoldcroft I'm an oldie! I'm getting nostalgic in real time for eyeshadows like Chanel "Declic" (ivory with subtle gold reflect) that would probably appear dull today, but was *so* gorgeous on everyone back in the days (early 2000's?) Well, Lisa Eldridge is not the only makeup historian, right?
I have an idea for those who want u to apply the eyeshadows, you should make a series of one and done products, like every Sunday or something, it’s just 20 videos lol ‘just’
Funny you should mention your totally smooth eyelids. As I also have the smoothest of smooth eyelids. In fact at 52 years old somehow my lids are amazingly smooth. I get stopped all the time for people to comment on their smoothness. It's absolutely amazing. Some would say my eyelids are unbelievable. 😏🤔😇🤥😎 I've wanted a mother ship pallette for so long. I just can't justify the price right now. Someday I will have one. Just not right now.
I completely understand that you don't want to put 20 eyeshadows on your eyeballs in one go, but I would have loved to see, up in the corner or something, a picture of you wearing it on a certain day so we can see what it looks like. Thank you so much 🙂
Wow..is space cowboy still around? I remember that from years ago (at least 10 I’m sure!) isn’t it funny how things come around again!? I bet the tiktokers think they’ve just discovered this totally new thing….i even used to wear it’s predecessor ‘midnight cowboy’ in the late 90s, im surprised that hasn’t made an appearance with all the 90s nostalgia that’s been around.
eres un ser hermosisimo i.hermosisisima tu cuerpo tus hojitos hermosisisimos me enamoran de ti Dios te llene de bendisiones eres adorable llena de alegria sonrisa i.dulsura cielo
Oh dear. You talk about posh brands and you do great reviews but Revlon does brilliant cream single eye shadows and you lost me at the beginning of the video. Oh well, you talk about posh brands so my criticism may be very unfair.
