I remember on my 11th birthday, I had my birthday pin on and one of the cast members on the floats during one of the night parades yelled Happy Birthday to me and it made my day lol
This was awesome! I’m always looking for something new to do when we go. I never knew about the family crest thing in Epcot. I am adding that to my list because I know we have one on my dad’s side.
Bellevue Lounge doesn’t do breakfast anymore since the coffeee shop opened in the lobby… and I’m pretty salty about that because they don’t have the mimosas or bloody Mary’s and I always loved seeing Mary there in the mornings. 😢😢😢
I love the savory beignets at the lounge sooo much better than the sweet ones in the cafe, and if you catch the band you’ll enjoy it even more because they are great!
Thank you, AJ! I’ve done a few of these things. One great surprise when I arrived at Boardwalk Inn January 31 was to see Goofy, Pluto, and Donald playing games with the kids on the lawn! I got to interact with all but Pluto (he was super-focused on a game with a kid), but it was wonderful to see them! I appreciate your information about Raglan Road, particularly the noise level - I’ve wanted to go there, but the older I get the less i can tolerate noise, especially noisy drunks. Let me put in a plug for the boat transportation - it’s a great option for traveling between places.
Taking it easy is an absolute MUST! Never plan a Disney vacation where you aren’t taking at least one day to explore your resort to relax. These are all great tips! Thanks for sharing! My personal tip on Celebration buttons: Keep it blank from the front desk at your resort, or wherever you get it, and go to the Christmas Shop at Magic Kingdom and have that button customized by the Cast Members there!
But there is a reason to that I mean disney is much more expensive than others vacation destinations and some people will only go there once or twice in their whole lifes especially if you are from another part of the world also there is the whole pre plan aspect that exist that makes you book your whole days in advance and that you can actually miss rides that are actually interessing and there is no way to get on something similar if you dont get on them in the day i already have a plan to when ill go to disneyworld i will have a plan to do all the rides i really want to because it can be a once in a lifetime opportunity to me and i know i cant waste time to be able to do that. I have way more relaxed places and experiences much closer to home that are much much cheaper when i want to relax
me and my mom got to draw dumbo, i didn't realize how good i was until i was done with it. That's a core memory for me for sure, and best part, we get to keep the art. (not the pencils though all though i think you do? i dono) but it was fun, and we have a great keep sake to take home with us.
My family and our little 4yr old just visited Disney World at the End or April and my daughter did the Pony ride and Loves it so much. We definitely wouldn’t mind staying at FortWilderness next Trip. I have not stay there for years. Would love for my Wife and Kids to experience the Campground by actually staying at FortWilderness
I'd suggest booking in advance anyways. Disney said just come & pick a time for horse back riding. Tried on day 2 of our 9 day stay & wasn't able to get a single open day!
It USED to be easy to get to Fort Wilderness from MK resorts. In particular I walked there from the Polynesian several times. BUT I've been told that the walking path has been closed.
We're doing our first split stay this Thanksgiving. We're actually doing Contempo first because we want to walk to a Very Merry party from the hotel, and then go to the fireworks headboards room at Port Orleans Riverside from which we'll go to Epcot when Festival of the Holidays starts. I can't wait!
Ok Please tell me where I can find the Mickey Red Velvet whoopie pie?? I just saw it in this video...Is that an old clip??. It used to be in Sunshine Seasons pre-pandemic but cannot find it anywhere!! Thats my favorite!! 😫
I understand locals can go to resorts and there are vloggers that work in Disney and resorts to bring us great content but I wish it wasn't recommended to work at the resorts. When we come to vacation and the places have folks working it kinda throws off the vibe-- I'm here to vacate from work to see others stressed or working isn't helpful. We had a lunch at Disneyland our first day there and there was a business meeting at the restaurant and interview and it was so off-putting.
It’s ridiculous that you encourage people to invade the DVC areas at hotels. People that aren’t staying in those buildings shouldn’t be relaxing in them, taking space away from paying guests.
I am insulted that AJ thinks I haven't done any of these things. I have done all of these things and all other experiences! I am not nuts, I am very tired and just needed to channel John Mulaney
