Hey Momma I completely understand about having pain. I suffer from Disk disease and spinal stenosis. Doctors refuse to believe me and won't help. It's a horrible existence and like you. I also listen to Let's Read due to insomnia. We must hang on and stay strong. I wish you the best. Also thank you so much Let's read. You help so much !❤

@@Lev-qg5tl Actually it’s not crazy. These stories get you out of your head and focused on something else. I have anxiety as well and listening to these doesn’t make it worse. I’ve had anxiety long before I found this channel

I've seen that episode. It's awesome the way you explained and described the rest of the story that wasn't told on the show. Makes a lot more sense. And the show says they were at home by themselves when the killer walked up and started talking to them. They invite him to eat, then as he gets up to leave, he shoots them both! Either way, it's fucking insane how this guy can just kill random ppl that's never did anything to him nor his family! Good riddance! More oxygen for the rest of us...

I am really glad that a mention of the dog in the first story survived the crash and was adopted. That's another victim that survived that psycho. Sometimes, the death penalty ensures these monsters will never walk the streets again. And let's be real; those we have on death row are still languishing there and usually die from natural causes.

See I live in the country, if I was going to take a hike like those two Ladies, I'd learn about wild plants to eat, I mean she was lost in a forest surrounded by food that she didn't realize she could eat and starved to death, I would also learn to hunt, what animals were there, what their foot prints looked like to track, how to make shelter, this is why most of these people die that get lost, they don't study where they are going, so they go with just the food on their backs and a direction, but they don't plan for "Oh crap" moments.

Exactly the same thing I would've done. Before I go to the wild I'll learn how to survive if running at of supplies. She could've marked trees with a knife I have no knowledge of hiking but that's one of the first things that come to mind to avoid getting lost.

I’m from Maine, when they found her she was lost in an area that wasn’t good, she had fallen and hurt herself and couldn’t really walk. Also people kept claiming they saw her in places MILES away from where she actually was. She was found in her tent. Sadly she kept going further up the mountain instead of downwards/towards a river like you’re supposed to, she wasn’t ready for the trail.

I grew up in Bland County and the Appalachian Trail ran straight through my home town. I remember watching Escape from Brushy Mountain, a documentary on the first incident in the video. It was just a few miles away from my house, and generally most people in that town suggest being a legal gun owner before walking the trail
