Dearest Mel I feel like I owe you babysitting money...I just starting watching my 3 month old granddaughter and she LOVES you. I watch your channel all the time....so naturally her first viewing of you....She smiled a huge smile and just stared at you smiling all the while. Today she gurgled and cooed at you. She’s truly mesmerized by you.... it’s so funny and cool to watch her “flirt” with you! 😂

Just fyi, succulents do need a lot of indirect bright light. They’re NOT low light plants. And bathrooms have lots of humidity and succulents don’t dig that. So if you don’t want to eventually get them looking funny or kill them, get them out of your bathroom asap! You can go into any nursery and ask them for low light plants and they will point you into the right direction (like zz plants or some calatheas). Love your makeup today!!

I got the NARS palette too and I love it. Thanks so much for showing the pitchers. I just ordered the bigger one for brewing iced tea or water w lemons. So excited 😆
Hello Mel, I got that Nars palette because of you. I seen your eye look and I said I really have to get that. I love all the shades in that palette. I didn’t purchase the Pat McGrath mothership palette cause I really looked at it and it looks like some others. I always love your eye looks. That purple shade is so beautiful. It's a bit more difficult, being 51 now, using glitters, but i love these palettes so much! My most favorite eyeshadows of the months were the 2 Tigers (single shadows) from Chantecaille, such beautiful colours, and so easy, 1 swipe in the crease and under my eyes with the taupe, and the green shadow on my mobile lids, some eyeliner, ready. Pat McGrath is much more work, but still love it. But i find Sydney Grace and most of Natasha Denona palettes/singles mostly easier to apply. Love your Huda look you created, wow!!!!!!!! Hey Mel...wherever you are having the fruit fly issue...put some apple Cider in a bowl with saran wrap covering. Then poke tiny holes in the top...they will go to the vinegar but can't come back out. Hope it helps!!! ❤

Rinse tins before they’re tossed and designate a few Ziplocks in your freezer for fruit & veggie waste until trash day. It helps keep the fruit fly population down. I learned that stuff while living alone in Florida.

Love the video. Felt your pain with the fruit flies though. 😉 A simple solution is to put out small bowls/jars with about 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar and a few drops of dawn dish soap in each one. Traps those nasty flies every time. Good luck!
Get a cheap plastic ice cube tray (or a few), pour coffee in them and freeze. I use that to make my cold coffee super cold instead of ice - it doesn't dilute the coffee as they melt :)
I want the PML Huetopian palette just for the two shades at the end, but like you said, I have all of those shades a million times over! Thank you for mentioning that you love it but that it could’ve been better (in terms of color story).
I love cold coffee! I’ll pour my cup snd usually let it sit to get cold or put it in the fridge as well. My fiancé thinks I’m so weird lol. Loving the new nars palette from your recommendation of course lol. I remember being little and my grandma always having real succulent around her house snd of course the little cactus one I touched.

I am so picky with fragrances and very sensitive to coconut which seems to be in everything nowadays lol. But I love the fresh aquatic type of fragrances. So basically you sold them to me. I have to agree with you about the Tom Ford rose prism. Purchased it, tried it. Didn’t like it, sent it back. I don’t know what’s going on with them but serious disappointment.
Mel! I had a stroke the day after Christmas. They found MS in my brain through the process. I also lost over 100 - so I know diet - fitness - and the impact on ailments and disease. Fruits negatively affect me in my trauma. If you need help or advice - let me know!
I’m so sorry to hear that 🥺 I have to have certain foods to get my ph back to normal. I had a severe case of metabolic acidosis and a few other issues.
I wanted to tell her same thing but did not want to sound negative and its not my business after all. Glad you did. Mel stay away from fructose and lots of veggies. Fructose goes straight into your liver and you will have insulin increase wich is inflammation. Veggies have a lot of fiber and we don't digest fiber microbiota does and if you have not enough of it fiber will eventually hurt your colon. Look into keto and carnivore thats what pulled me personally literally from vegan hell back to life. Veganism ruined my guts and carnivore and keto actually healing me.
Oud Minerale is definitely not one of my favorites. Love his Ombre Leather. But, by the description of the notes you like, try Maison Francis Kurkdjian's Gentle Fluidity Silver or Creeds Royal Mayfair (which goes on horrendously, but the dry down is everything). My favorite from Kilian is Love Don't Be Shy. I worked at S5A when he came there in person to launch his line. Wow wow wow....charming little beauty, he was!!!!
Another great plant for darker spaces is the ZZ plant, it needs very litle water (1 a month or so) and it can grow quite big too. The only thing you have to be careful is that it can be toxic to pets if eaten, my cat leaves it in peace so i have 4 in my house :)
You can put some apple cider vinegar in a jar or glass cover with plastic wrap and make a small hole in the top. I will create a fruit fly trap. Ugh, they are so annoying.
