@moto teq offroading and touring is different thing. Do you think a single clutch will last if you do spiti laddakh or tawang ride in snow? Highway riding is different from riding in a place where you keep on engaging clutch your whole ride. There will be major wear and tear. Go ask any offroader who has done laddakh or spiti or tawang they will explain you better way.
He is contradictory with his claims. Bike is 5 years old according to him. 200000 ÷ 5 = 40000 40000÷365 =109 109 kms average daily. He claims he started after 19 years of age, he is almost 22 now. It means 2,00,000 kms in 3 years now. That's makes 183 kms per day. And what about initial 2 years of bike? Bike is 5 years old and he is 22 years of age. And if, he is riding since 5 years. It shows he started riding before getting a valid driving license. Lots of contradictions.
not cool man... if me or you was in front of the cam knowing we are with vikas n this will be seen by a lot of ppl wed be freaked out as crap as well... dont make fun of the man... he had the balls to go n meet him make this vid for us ..you nor me didnt... much respect for the guy..
Any vehicle doesn't matter which brand it is if you skip the scheduled service gives problem later dats y d service intervals are given by the manufacturer
2,00,000 Kms in 5 years😰 26k Kms in 44 days means in an 1 and half month. And still yet no engine wear and tears nor major issues. Everything is stock in the bike, only he had an issue with the instrument console which is not big thing and it happened just now only once in 5 years. Everything is going well in the bike. Hats off to this rider and value for money bike... Love KTM 😌😻
My 2012 CBR 250R has done almost 270k kilometres . I toured with it all over the place and still it's butter smooth . Still did not face major problems just changed clutch plates and tyres and chain that's all about it.
Brother! I'm from sainikpuri, Hyderabad . I own a Activa 3g I rode it 97585 kms from April 12th 2015 to this day. I have gone to many long rides on my Activa itself. It would be we grateful for me if you take my name into your vlog. Thanks with love towards Vikas my inspiration 💘🙏
He has probably not noticed that his clutch plates are worn out. It's out of sheer ignorance or lack of in depth understanding of each part of an engine. Again, I didn't mention lack of mechanical understanding. It's due to lack of detailed in-depth understanding of practical working of parts. Speaking in terms of feel of the bike, 99% of the riders do not notice the clutch plates wearing out. Because the power drag and continuity remains unchanged even though the friction plates are worn out. Pressure plates never wear out. Half clutch idling will still work even though plates are worn out. You will not feel the counter shaft and transmission shaft engage and disengage. It is healthy for clutch set to wear out by 45 to 50k km but not 15 or 20k as u said vikas. You are absolutely rite about that. Leaving all that apart 200000 km is such a great achievement. All my respects to him. Great.
Honda hornet160r.. _done 1.25lakh in 3years.. No clutch change ..engine ..just new... Tensioner needs replacement now. It runs and runs... Many time done 900kms in a day
Vikas I like your being Human, The way you treat and react people, Honesty it amazing, Keep it up brother from respected other mother, I really like your sense of humor Service to human is service to God,
This is heartening to see man. My 2016 Duke 200 has done 39000 KMS so far. I havent done mega rides like him but yeah I have done 3000 km tours like hyd to Kolkata and back and also hyd to Delhi and back. No problem with my bike. Just the stator coil needed change at 18k KMS but nothing apart from that. I now know that my Duke will last a long time and I can comfortably keep touring on it 😊
Wow I loved this rider and KTM bikes 😍😍🤗 that rider is extremely amazing and loved KTM, their bikes are super fantastic.. personally loved KTM Duke 200 and all the Duke series just amazing man👌😍 I also planned to buy Duke 200 and I will go for it because I just loved it, it's.. it's.. attitude the Duke attitude 🤗😎
So you expect him to call him Sir ? Come on man he a capable you boy .. hes being friendly and thats fine ok.. dnt bring that custom of keeping the film stars on head .. let this be normal
Happy to know that I know how to use the clutch as even after completing 21,000 kilometres on my Classic 350 it's clutch plate is still in original condition! Avoid so much use of clutch and the clutch plate will last longer and longer! Even it's chain sprocket hasn't been changed yet! 😁😄
The engine tech and oils are so good these days that one could do 200k on a single cylinder motorcycle. I never mind the miles when buying a motorcycle what matters the most is how well the owner took care of the bike with proper maintainence.
Hey Vikas Bhai! I NEED YOUR HELP I really have a Big problem with my Duke 390 BS3 variant (2013) The speedometer isn't showing reading BUT SHOWS RANDOM ERRORS LIKE "LOW OIL PRESSURE" LOW BATTERY"... The speed reading becomes zero suddenly. But the engines doesn't stall or have any mechanical probs, its running good. & i tried fixing it with new sensor and new meter. Still problem exists now waiting for the stator coil part (as i have to order and wait) to see if that is faulty. Could you please tell me what exactly is the fault out of your experience.
Hi bro , can u please make a video on tips for maintaining bike's engine refine and to keep engine like a new one ... And bro some bikes like pulsars 220f after riding it for 30k kms it's pick up will be gone and vibration from engine and sound y bro what is the reason.?? plz me a video on tips For maintaining engine good
Ktm engines lasts long of u service it well and take care with regular maintance ,ktm engines are not manufactured in india a it need more precision assemble , and the oil they use is thick quality 20w50 but indian manufacturere such as tvs and hero and honda use 10w30 where lubrication film needs to be good for racing engines so tvs shulould go for thicker grade oil as i have apache 160 4v specl edtn only 4000km ridden many problems knocking sound at low speed first i thought it as tappets or timing chain adjusted from service centre not resolved so buying tvs was my first mistake instead i would have bought bajaj
Bro when i wear my helmet(vega crux dx) for more than 30min my right trap muscle(right side of neck) is paining when i remove helmet it will be fine within some time.......but i cant wear it for long time......I tried exercising those muscles but it didnt work....pls someone help me out with this
The helmet model you have is a basically a plastic bucket. Get a snug fitting SMK or an MT helmet atleast. Don't settle for anything lower. And see the world of the difference in comfort. Remember the helmet fit must be snug and not loose. Then you will feel like it's a part of your head.
@RUNN✓ so what kid 😆I recently rode 186 kms at 80 kmph and still the engine is in pristine condition. The Rx is 1989 model and it’s 32 years old and still we can see the demand for these bikes and many of them running even today on roads. We can talk about the duke when they will be on the roads after 30+years 😆😂🤣
Not possible.he is saying his age is 22 and he is riding the bike since 19 years of age, so a simple math like this..3years=200000km, so each year he rides=200000/3=66000km and each month he rides 66000/12=5500km and each day he rides =5500/30=183km!!!! and all is reckon-able if he rides each day of each month and each year continuously without any break. Possible??? what did u say Vikas?
