Just the simple intro, analysis at beginning of game, 9 innings of casual ball, and the end. These were the good days. No pregame show, no postgame over-analysis. Simple, sweet, baseball.

the introduction to this video makes me so emotional. The music, Pete Van Wieren's intro, just the longevity of this combo of the Braves and TBS....man this was my childhood.

I feel ya man. I’m actually a high school junior who’s spending quarantine combing through my dad’s old VHS tapes, and I’m just now appreciating the greatness of Maddux and the Big 3. I grew up on guys like Scherzer, Kershaw, Verlander, and Greinke. It’s always refreshing for me to go back in time with these tapes. Glad you’re enjoying!

at 1:04:38 the at bat of Jamie Wright five years into the league vs. Gregg Maddux was a classic.. Maddux throw him up and in. It shook Wright. The next pitch Wright singled on Maddux up the middle. Maddux made a subtle gesture. Jamey Wright pitched nineteen years in the MLB

a rare thing these days but the braves pitched complete games most of the time if not 8 now your lucky if you see 4 to 6 innings
