2000 Ford F150 box rail plastic cap removal - I wouldn't recommend this method when it's cold unless you could heat the section you are working on with a heater or hair-dryer.
Thank you for sharing this advice 👍 I’m a 2006 F150 owner and I know all to well the body repair season is upon us. It’s a great truck it’s just too bad Ford can’t get their paint department in line for rust protection. All this engineering effort to figure out how they can charge your cellphone and zero effort on rust protection research. 🍻
People are talking about "OH Wow, a little handle for the side steps" on the new 2023 f250. now, that's a great idea, but really every truck has the little handles, just pop the little cover
Thanks for this video! Those damn engineers! They could have made this design so much simpler! They over think everything. Is there no common sense in this world anymore? lol
Hmmm........just got removed mine this evening on my 2005, got my hands up under them near the cab and slowly pulled them all off, I think I lost one clip but who cares? Sit the new ones where the old ones where and just give them some good taps with side of my fist and popped them all in! It was damn near dark and I could barely even see what I was doing but it wasn't no big deal! Now got to get the tailgate rail off tomorrow, that looks like it might be a little tougher!
Thanks! My first video! I couldn't find one showing this process and thought maybe it wasn't much of a concern for others, but have had almost 4000 views since posting. The power of RU-vid!
Thanks Wesley, my little project turned into some major substructure reconstruction, entire box repaint and an eventual sale of the truck. I hope your project turns out well!
