Ron o black I used a low profile 1/4 ratchet and 4mm shallow socket worked just as good as the Lisle tool for anyone else who could use this information as useful
Great information. I didn't know about this tool. For some reason, there are different versions of headlight adjusters listed for this F-150. My 2002 F-150 adjusts exactly like this and I really appreciate the video. Granted, it could be better but I'm grateful for what I can get. I didn't know which screws adjusted the vertical and horizontal. Other videos show removing the headlights and screwing the ball socket which is unnecessary. This is the proper way to adjust and you can see the movement of the lights while you're doing it by aiming the lights at your wall or garage door. In my case, I aimed my other "good" vehicle at the garage door and marked the targets with tape. Then I parked the F-150 in the same spot and adjusted to the same targets. Easy-peezy.
I know those are after market headlights but are you supposed to have that much of a gap between the headlight and the grille panel? I ask because I have the same issue with after market headlights.
Tony Garza You’ll need the Lisle 14540 Tool and do the same procedure that he did in the video. Yesterday June 20, 2019 at night I did my alignment to my 2000 Ford Expedition in 10 minutes. SUPER EASY. Have a great day and happy Summer Solstice.
Would you happen to know the name of the tool. I would like to get one to adjust my headlights but don't have a name to call the tool. Thanks for the video.
hey jo do you think oreillys or auto zone would loan me that tool? is there a name for that tool or should I just call it the headlight adjustment tool?
