Troubleshooting the turn signals and hazards for the 2000 Honda Civic.
both turn signals and hazards are on the same system so if one doesn't work most likely both of them don't work. By the way I tried to make it easier since I'm not so good at explaining things properly.
--Troubleshooting--
Turn Signals and hazards don't turn on at all? (go to step 1)
one of the headlights don't flash? (go to step 3)
Turn Signals flashing too quickly? (go to step 5)
Step 1: Check to see if a fuse is out from the fuse box both outside and in the car (If fuses are fine go to step 2)
Step 2: Check Turn signal and hazards are installed correctly (Still nothing? go to step 5)
Step 3:Replace bulb with a new one or from an existing for testing (Did not work? go to step 4)
Step 4: Most likely a wiring issue, start at the headlight and check connection for cuts, fraying, kinks in the wiring if conditions of wire not a factor then try checking out Honda forums for the specs on the wiring bundle to the headlight. (go to step 6)
Step 5: Replace relay (Still same issue? go to step 6)
Step 6: Sorry it seems this is something deeper, Check Honda forums for wiring specs and additional information
