@@yellowduck-2024 excuse? what excuse.. We are talking a team with Mourning and Hardaway that had a BITTER rivalry with the knicks.. yOU are talking about a Wade team with Shaq and Lebron AFTER the fact.. that is NOT what were are talking about here.. Learn to read the room
Vamos Utah jazz 🏀🎷
THIS is what I don’t get about the praise they give Lebron for “making the right play”. If they don’t score, how can it ever be the right play?? Weatherspoon should have never even touched the ball with 14 seconds left. He was open for a reason.
lol well he won more than most as a player coach and gm or what ever....i think maybe 4 with lakers 3 with heat and maybe got one with wilt west and baylor
@@PhilPeeVa Scrubs in comparison to what Mourning was in his prime. Both Hardaway and Majerle were past it by the time they got to Miami and Mashburn was always overrated. That was it. Mourning carried them on his back but only took them so far.
With Ewing they were 2 wins away from the Finals. Without Ewing they’re out in the first round. The slower pace and defensive style helped them win for 15 years.
I think Ewing did slow them down in '99 and '00.....camby and spree ...were better fit than starks, Oakley, and Ewing.......By that time anyway Imo...not the case in the mid 90's tho
@@yellowduck-2024 Just to clarify, we’re talking about the 00 ECF, not the 98 ECSF when he did indeed come back (from the wrist injury) vs Indiana. In either case I disagree. They couldn’t win without him, and if they couldn’t win with him, that’s it, the team wasn’t good enough. His additional scoring (basically another Sprewell or Houston) plus his defensive presence changed the complexion of a game. Ewing is an all-time great rim protector, 9th all-time in defensive win shares. That alone, plus double digit rebounding, is worth having him for.
