2000 Town Car Starter Relay, Fuel Pump Relay

Ver informative. I have a 99 Mercury Grand Marquis. The fuse box looks to be identical. I have replaced the starter , the fuel pump and fuel filter and it still won't start.

Will ground wire keep fuel pump from cumn on

What about the light gray relay next to the starter relay. Is that the 4 blade relay and what is its purpose.

I have a question in regards to my 1997 Lincoln Town Car. It Refuses to start it'll crank Forever Until I kill the battery. But refuses to start if I plug jumper cables to the car. To prevent it from dying. And spray some starting fluid to the intake. I can get it to fire up. And once I've had it fired up. The problem goes away and 4 a couple of weeks to a few months it won't do it again then out of the blue. It'll do it again. Meaning everyday for two weeks to a few months. It'll start like a normal car with no issue and once in a blue moon, it'll just sit there cranking. Pranking pranking without turning over unless I force it with some starting fluid. What could be causing that I'm thinking fuel pump? But I don't know please help. Thank you.

hi lehew, 96 town car a few times a week cranks but doesnt start after running and turn off. wait abt 10 minutes then starts right up. have suspicion that it is relay. when it happens agn i will swap relays with horn and see what happens. your thoughts.

Yea I changed my instrument cluster on my 98 town car and now it cranks but no start. Security lights blinks. Called a locksmith who program my keys but still no start.

Where is the fuel relay reset??
