You're making the assumption that the AB would/could have run the ball from behind their posts and scored. I'm not sure if you're incredibly optimistic or not particularly bright.

The All Blacks could easily have done that and have done it plenty of times in test rugby.

@@jjm4526 They could also easily have lost the ball, gotten tackled to death or simply made some other stupid mistake, It happens. No one will ever know. The test is gone and dusted and SA won.

If im not mistaken Lomu never scored a try against the Boks in 13 tests. The Boks had him well covered. Unlikely he would have scored in this game.

You had 3 broadcast teams doing this game. Gavin Cowley called it for SA and the world feed, Gordon Bray did it on Seven, and Grant Nisbett for Sky in NZ. You'll never see that again, since Stan takes the world feed for non-aussie games.
