@@CaseyRoberson and I'm 1996, I remember the "GPTV Bringing You The Best" station ID as if it was yesterday. I watched PBS Kids heavily between 1998-2004 (preschool - 2nd grade)
I honestly haven't had time to watch the commercials from this last set of tapes I've been uploading. Sometimes I can figure out the year by a movie advertisement, but PBS is harder. Certainly it's between 2001 and 2008 since Laura Bush makes an appearance with Elmo
You mean like Ruthie sleepless at a sleepover dance on the coming soon on Sesame Street bumper after Gordon says, “Good night big bird!” Is before the corporation for public broadcasting and public television stations and their contributors at the end of 3650 from season 28 in 1998?
Thanks so much for this, Casey! Superb! Say, by any chance do you happen to have the PBS commercial from--I think it was 2004 (I'm certain it was pre-2008)--that advertises for various PBS programming? I remember it had the two guys in the speedboat going warp 8 and one dude's hat flies off. I think the commercial ends with a clip of Earth rotating. I've been trying like heck to find it and without success. Thanks just the same. Have a good one!
The first batch of commercials I uploaded were just from things I had on VHS from my childhood. Everything else is just from tapes I've digitized for other people. I don't collect in any particular area, I just post whatever I come across.
You mean like Barney & friends: it’s hot it’s cold, a perfectly purple day, day and night, and play piano with me reran on PBS kids in 2004 and Barney & friends: way to go a travel adventure, the misbegotten moon a space adventure, the sword in the sand box a storybook adventure, and riff to the rescue a Wild West adventure reran on PBS kids in 2009?
