2000s Sonic Was PEAK Sonic! 

Whats up homeskillets!!! Hopefully y'all enjoyed this trip down memory lane. The 2000s era is definitely my favorite era of Sonic so far, but there were still great titles in every other era of Sonic as well! Let me know what your favorite Sonic era was!

Yeah the games that came out in the 2000s area was golden

Coming from someone who first got into Sonic by the time Generations came out, I still think the 2000’s was the best Sonic era. You got cool, epic stories that had great characters. You had a fantastic show that was constantly rerunning (Sonic X was still doing reruns when I got into the fandom, and it was my favorite show as a kid). You had awesome toys and merchandise. But most importantly, you had integrity, and the true Sonic spirit (to anyone who thinks the classics didn’t take themselves seriously, I challenge you to look into the lore of those games and also try to find a single silly joke). I may have started with Colors (a game I love and think is overhated now), but looking up stuff on the “Dark Age” games (especially the cutscenes) is what really drew me to the franchise and made me a fan. Sadly, most the things that made the 2000’s great were lost in the 2010’s. However, I’ve recently been playing Frontiers, a game that really felt like a true return to the 2000’s. So I have high hopes for the blue blur.

This is a Great Video Man I Totally Agree that 2000 to 2010 was The Best Decade of Sonic, I hope Sonic Games can be Great Again, also I Think Shadow the Hedgehog Game is Awesome cause Moving fast while having a Gun and Having a Great story with Shadow is Awesome.

2000s Sonic may not have been peak in the gaming industry but it was peak fiction for my childhood.

Sonic P-06 is the best Sonic Game ever. Would be good if Shadow 06, Sonic 06, Heroes & both Adventure games got a passionate remake. Also, SA 3 is well overdue

In my experience with Shadow The Hedgehog, the PlayStation 2 version had the floor breaking glitches. The GameCube did not. I still play my GameCube version to this day. (Shadow 05 is my favorite Sonic game) I personal think Shadow 05 plays better than Heroes. The rail grinding works better. I am currently playing 06 for the first time and its a hot mess. But I love Shadows story and how he is written in that game. I love the 2000s sonic games and I hope we get rerelease of these games.

I’d say, restart / redo the franchise from Shadow 05. That’d sort out & cause the franchise to thrive
