Is it me or back in the early 2000s, things seemed so much more hopeful, even I think families were closer, people had more holiday spirit. And by holiday spirit I mean decorating for Christmas, Halloween way more enthusiastically, people seemed weyless cheap, much more willing to spend, and not offer you $1 for something you were asking $10 for on Craigslist. there was a lot more sense of adventure, way less depression and hate in The Air. I don't know maybe it's just me? People just seem like absolute trash nowadays.
Same, nowadays, everytime I check the global top 50 on spotify most songs are about drugs, depression, suicide, and stuff. But I just try to stay positive and enjoy life and all the joyful songs seem from the 2000s, early 2010s so I'm stuck with the same songs waiting for new positive songs to come out but they never seem to.

When i hear those songs i feel kid again and in the same time it feels sad 😢 and happiness. In the past the life was much better more love and respect 😊
For real yes thank you for letting me relive my childhood as well I'm a 90s baby and was born in 1992 it's scary how fast time is sneaking up on me I almost feel closer to being elderly I'm 30 and not enjoying it goodluck out there guys from the 90s and early 2000s you are all our future.
As soon as I heard the music I started sobbing, I remember trying to be edgy, crushing my childhood one step at a time, hearing it now makes my inner child so happy that we're finally enjoying what we were supposed to at that time, I remember listening to these songs in the car with my grandparents as they desperately tried to cheer me up, it never worked back then cause days were so dark, but now i can't stop crying relieved tears, thank you so much for this.
I wish I had more time to be a kid in the 2000's. 2010's were great too, especially cuz spending hours on the highway in cali was great with Vance Joy and Imagine Dragons on the radio
I feel like 2024 kinda feels like the 2000s more when I was a kid because I’ve backed away from social media and I started focusing more on my relationships, and I’m starting to hear the birds I heard when I woke up every morning when I was a kid.
It’s crazy to think I’m 42 today and listen to this music I could take the world on now I’m like thay don’t make good music any more and every thing different now and the world not worth taking on it’s full of bs
I've been depressed for a long time, I seem useless and bad. This music has helped me relieve fatigue and stress. Thanks for sharing it. The person who is reading this comment , i wish you great success , health, love and happiness!
Great songs starting my world war III playlist and God's after party playlist and this song made it congrats what a fabulous truth setting me free Thank You
So so many memories less work more bliss just chilling making memories and friends connecting and going to different places for whatever reason!! This playlist is a true masterpiece!! 🎉
Luckily my friends and I all loved theses songs in Uni so even if they were old we would put them non-stop at the bar, trust me it really is a vibe like today's kids wouldn't understand
They were! a party, club or bar meant EVERYBODY was there in the moment, you were ALL part of that night with eachother. Today, faces in phone-screens have separated us all into obsessed shut-off silent clicks. I'm so glad I was going out in the late '90's and 2000's, because it will never go back to that again. It all changed very suddenly with the smartphone.
I was the class of 2000!! I was 18 when the 2000 where hear...adding lots of deep bass techno from the fun raves...I'm still a glitter fairy goddess..all thanks to this era shaped my core to who i am now....❤❤❤❤❤
Let's remember that late 90's and early 2000's parties were way better than and later 2000's parties. Everytime you hear these songs metephorically raise a glass to the vibes of the old beats that pound in the older nastalgic DJ turn tables. Reply if you agree or disagree, I'm nearly 30 and this music still hits a spot. Please do me a favor to dance to these song well into your ripe older years past 30 and beyond. good day my fellows.
I'd add... The Hives - Hate To Say I Told You So Coldplay - Yellow Linkin Park - In The End The White Stripes - Fell In Love With A Girl The Strokes - Reptilia The Killers - Mr. Brightside Interpol - Evil Green Day - American Idiot Snoop Dogg and Pharrell Williams - Drop It Like It's Hot Gwen Stefani - Hollaback Girl Mindless Self Indulgence - Stupid MF Fall Out Boy - Sugar, We're Goin' Down Panic At The Disco - I Write Sins, Not Tragedies LCD Soundsystem - All My Friends Soulja Boy - Crank That (Soulja Boy) MGMT - Kids Beyonce - Halo Lily Allen - F*ck You The Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Heads Will Roll Iyaz - Replay
Love that the video started with Black Eyed Peas music. I absolutely LOVED them and their music back in the day. It was some truly good days, I tell ya
Great playlist. I love it! To anybody reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind may clarity replace confusion. may peace and calmness fill your life.
Exactly! When songs were too popular. I think it's mostly because it was around our childhood, listening to these takes us back to those times rather than the actual song. Memories.
What a beautiful piece of music! I feel so refreshed and rejuvenated after listening to it.This sound is so wonderful. The person who is reading this comment, I wish you great success, health, love and happiness!
For people seeing this, don't get caught up in the past. Focus on the present. Better yourself, work on yourself, because the present will become the past sooner than you think.
The way i hate being a teen in 2024 i hate this gen tbh its depressing and just hopeless there's hate evrywere , i would do anything just to be a teen in the 2000s
not rlly just understand u grew up in the final stretch of the “good days” for most when listening to these songs but regardless ur good years are still here! so spend em!(trust me!!)
Wow... Surprisingly, to those of us who used to listen to this music when they were the day's hits do not listen to other music. Am I the only person stuck in this era? Am finding it hard to change to other music, or even genre. To me these are all time hits.
I miss my childhood, life was so mich simple then, i had a smile and good friends a good life, people were happy and i saw smiles on people's faces, i remember the good old days we, all of us 2000s kids can agree that we had a great childhood, i wish for those times back😢
Gen Z here right now born 2007 my sister was 2005 and this was our child hood, I had a my little pony radio I brought with me everywhere and this was the music that would play and I just remember being so happy and bouncy as a child with this music now I love it for both the nestolgia and the amazing sound.
@@prometheus9096im 2007 as well and the part I think is weirdest is that I have cousins who were born in the 2020s, which is actually insane to me. I don’t feel that old since I’m only 16, but to think that there are people who are being born 2 decades away from my decade is crazy. My cousin graduates high school in 2041… I’m gonna be old as hell by then 😂
Great playlist. I love it! Younger generations won't understand the feeling and memories these jams bring ❤ To anybody reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind may clarity replace confusion. may peace and calmness fill your life 🙏❤
@@jestbg1397 well if you have a good work ethic you'll do fine it doesn't really matter what year you were born but I will say this it was alot simpler getting a job when I was a teen all you had to was fill out a paper application and most of the time they would interview you that day or a couple days later nowdays you have to go on a website answer all kinds of random questions and then you have to wait forever for them to reply back
Hotel room service is pretty much what I grew up on, so I feel amazing being able to listen to it again, and though I love everyone of these songs and I grew up on every single one of them, Hotel room service is what stood out to me the most. (P.S Sorry for the long comment)
