@@javiertorres2190 10w30 if wherever your gonna be driving at is warmer than 32 degrees fahrenheit. 5w30 is meant for colder places that typically stay around/below 32 degrees fahrenheit. 5w30 will not damage your vehicle in warm weather though so somewhere that could be 60 degrees one day then 20 the next 5w30 is for you OVERALL IDEA 10w30-meant for warmer places that don’t drop below freezing 5w30-need it for cold weather but can act as an all weather engine oil
Just did mine and I'm a big guy so I don't wanna be climbing under my dirty truck to find the dang thing first ever vehicle the filter was on the right side. Gave the starter a few rounds with it before starting to prime the oil filter a bit and move some oil and she started up quiet and purred like a kitten.
I have heard of doing that. I've never personally done that, but I understand the reasoning is to help it not have a dry start, which makes sense to me.
