I'm glad you mentioned the quirks. My 2000 Astro has the brake/abs light issue and I too was told not to worry about it. Even with the gremlins these are great rigs. Good luck.👍

I am building a 2005 Astro right now and realize the work involved in keeping it neat due to the fact that there is not one single straight line and all trim is curved differently . Great video, currently camperizing a 94 Astro I purchased. Im just over in Comox, can recognize you are in Vic from the video. Will be stealing a few ideas from it for sure!

Your warning ABS and brake light are a bad ABS computer. It’s located on top of the ABS control valves on the left side next to the frame. The solder cracks on the circuit board. It can be re-soldered. It’s on RU-vid.

Did you do the build yourself? And if so, did you do a video on it?

I couldnt hear what you said about the awning poles, are they painting poles? I really like your build overall. I had an 04 astro the same color, my only real complaint about it was the poor fuel mileage .. I think if you sewed a tarp with 2 pockets to slip over the poles it would be a lot easier and a cleaner overall look

Could you share where to get an awning set up like that?
