This was the best, I still love IndyCar and love my hometown Toronto race, but man I miss this time. The cars, the look, the sponsors, the sound, the track layout(proper pit lane with no Hotel X) and honestly, the GRANDSTANDS!!! There were literally grandstands all around the track, so many good viewing points, even for just general admission. Now there's only coverage at the final 9-11 turns of the track and turn 3! Not to mention the caliber of drivers and the actual racing that took place. There were rivalries and everything just felt quicker, better, more exciting. The NTT IndyCar series is moving in the wrong direction imo. I would love for some of the old styling and engines to return. PLEASE INDYCAR!!!!
NTT Indycar Series 🏁 Bob's your uncle, Toronto street circuit, brilliant. Plenty of action, good racing. Classic Zanardi doing what he does best, one of my favorite drivers.👌
No problem. Being european, I grew up watching F1 and one of my idols was Nigel Mansell, even if I'm not British. Searching for his CART season videos I discovered the american open-wheel racing and I felt in love with it!
I always find it funny how the channel supporting the current, and shitty, IRL series post awesome races from the good, fast and turbocharged era of CART racing.
I think Andretti's pass around the outside into turn 3 is one of my favourite ChampcarCart moments ever, and this was about the only race I was able to put aside my hatred for that guy aside to admit he drove a great race... Still, standard sentiments here about this formula being 100 x better than anything the IRL has ever put on track. Please try fixing that soon.
@HollywoodSheen Lotus already said they'd build bodykits so we'll have Lotus and Dallara IndyCars. Honda will also be building 2.4L turbocharged V6 engines. 2012 IndyCars will definitely not be the same cars we have now.
@VRPudz thank you, no one ever mentions how terrible our commentators are. Go listen to the guys call races over the pond and tell me it's not a more entertaining show. I'm fully convinced great commentary can nearly make or break a telecast. Our commentators are so F'n dull, no excitement, no passion, no emotion. Indycar needs Ben Edwards in the worst way. That guy will bring in ratings guaranteed. VS cast is a joke
@FrodothePuppet I highly doubt Bernard will take the series to those heights again, the "new" car they just introduced is proof of this. Same shit, dallara chassis/honda engine. These people will never learn
@GarrysModPr0ductions Okay????????? Do you remember that we were argueing at that fight at the glen thing???? Cause now your actting like i'm your best buddy or somthing......
