Duke defeated Arizona 82-72 to capture their 3rd national championship at the Metrodome in Minneapolis. Mike Dunleavy Jr. led Duke with 21 points. In his final collegiate game, Shane Battier scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, Jason Williams added 16 and Carlos Boozer chipped in 12 pts and 12 rebs. Loren Woods led all scorers with 22 points, and Richard Jefferson added 19 for the Wildcats.
