Nice walk-around details video of the Seadoo Islandia. Many features I didn't know about. I have the Seadoo Challenger with the same Mercury 240efi M2 sportjet engine. You are right about the Mercury 210(carb)/240(efi) engines and their plastic oil pump drive gear on the crankshaft breaking causing massive engine damage (no oil). Sadly too common as these boats get older. Good luck with your engine rebuild.
Yes, thanks, man.I really appreciate it.I actually started making these videos.Because I realized no one else was talking about the engine and a lot of these boats are ending up in the junkyard.Because no one really know what to do with there's not much on youtube.
