In this weeks video I show you how to replace a timing belt and water pump with idlers and tensioner on a 2001 Subaru Outback with a 2.5 L single overhead cam mated to an automatic transmission. This is definitely a job that is possible to do in the driveway provided you take the necessary safety precautions and wants the full length video. However it is a job that can be quite challenging and if you make mistakes can be quite costly so I definitely recommend that you take your time watch the video take notes and proceed when you feel comfortable to do so.
