I just scored this exact same bike with 1 owner 9,000 miles for $1300 with luggage rack and highway bars and I love it she quick nibble and light the stock seat is very comfy and she can do 80 to 90miles on the beltway effortlessly. this thang pulls like a freight train I'm 5'10 and 250soild. not bad riding 2up either
These are still out there to pick up. I am a inline 4 guy myself. But I found a VS 800 for $1,000. I have ridden all kinds of bikes in the last 20 years. But this bike is faster on take off then the 1400cc version aka C90. It will smoke a 883HD all day any day. With the power this bike makes, you can back it in a curve and come out straight! It dose eat some gas if you ride it hard, but for a cruiser that thinks it is a sports bike what would you expect. I'm fixing to put a 5,000 plus mile trip on it in a few months. One thing to be sure of is to get the carb synch correct. The back jug has a bit smaller carb. Also check your valve timing. If you show this bike a bit of love, she will give you the most fun you can have with your pants on. Just sayin.
@@damonmiller8118 I got Vance Hines on mine and it's loud as fuck. Came up behind a Harley, followed it for a few miles and pulled in beside it when we stopped. The guy said he wondered wtf was behind him because he couldn't hear his bike for the sound of mine. Loud pipes save lives.. Live to Ride etc'
This was my first bike exactly the same color the only difference is I put Ape Hangers On It. I love that bike and even though I'm riding at 1900 now this video is making me want to go get another one of these just for scooting around town. Beautiful work on that bike!
This is a very nice bike ... my friend had one and we would go cruising, run them out and do 30- 80 mph roll ons etc. & it would walk all over my Marauder !! It runs like an 1000cc bike , if your reading this & thinking about getting one ..... Do It , you won't be sorry !! Be Safe !! 👍🏻
I had a 1995 VS800 if i remember the year correctly. Super fast off the line cause u can launch without risk of wheelieing it. Plus the lightweight of 200kg with a 800cc engine and Vtwin just jump off the line like nothing else.
Looks like a super nice bike, the only thing I can't get past with the Intruder is the exhaust - most other V-twins have the nice dual pipe down one side... just looks off to me that they are separated. Oh well I'm sure this one went fast!
I have this exact same bike, same year same color, my only complaint is i wish my gas tank was a bit bigger, i end up fueling every day or two, a bit annoying when i try to ride with my friends or parents who can get twice the mileage on a tank
I had the identical bike for many years - bought it new -(same year, color, model) stock radiator cover matched the paint and my bike never sounded that nice - there was work done on the exhaust. yes, very fast
hey man, would you recommend me the Yamaha Virago 750 or Suzuki Intruder 800VS? I'm a beginner and I'm searching for my first bike. Thank you. BTW I'm Flyweight.
@@YilmazGuenduez Good choice they are really nice bikes. One thing to note is that changing the battery on them is a pain. I just changed mine and it was a nightmare, had to loosen the whole cage to get it done and even then the heat sink is in the way. If you ever need to change yours I'd recommend taking it to a workshop lol
@@Angel-Adramelech You're right, it's a pain in the... I dug a pit in my old barn to repair things if needed. With going down into the pit and change the battery from below is way easier.
I don't know when I ride Metro cruisers especially Japanese. I literally feel like I'm on a DR 350 but there's two cylinderd in a 45° angle. 2 DR350s connected in a V .. whatever you want to ride them. I'm just banging through gears and I feel like I'm on a big dirt bike that can't wheelie or hit 12
Idk, it looks...small. like a VN900 custom looks like a proper bike, this one looks like something a small guy would ride but a big guy would look ridiculous on it.
