I rented a '14 camaro and the windshield distortion was annoying. I just bought an '02 Z28 vert. Only down at the dashline is any distortion. That '14 drove me nuts for the ten days I had it. But yeah, it was fun to play with. I personally like my model over the newer ones only because the interior. The gauges on the new one just didn't appeal to me. Well, that and I felt like I was sitting in a bathtub. Just my opinion though. :-)
I think visibility in 5th gens all comes down individual seating position. It's objectively bad, of course, but mine that I daily really isn't hard to see out of. You're definitely right about the bathtub part though.
My understanding is they're fine as long as you don't go crazy on power modifications, but I could be wrong. That defeats the purpose for a lot of people, of course.
@@CPAJayhawk I have been racing mine for 10 years and the transmission is still running strong and original I have 350k miles on mine it depends on how you take care of your vehicle and this applies to all vehicles
