This worked like a charm on my 2003 TBird. Many thanks to David Juntunen and follow his procedure exactly. Remember once you put the fuse back in, start the car, turn on the radio/CD player and the CD will display "initializing" for 30-60 seconds. Once it goes thru this silent process, you can play, load, eject as desired. Beautiful - thank Dave.
THANK YOU AND THANK U RICH CONCAILDI. I had to pull and replace the fuse while the car was running, it did not seem to work, otherwise. I then keep hitting the CD button and getting the error message. I hit the button like once every 45 seconds about 3 or 4 times. After a couple of minutes the disk in slot 3 ejected. This was the last function I had attempted before all the error messages that and the player stopped working. Once it completed that last task, ejecting the disk, it showed the word "initializing" Like Rich said in his comment. Then... Bada-Boom it worked. Thank you
so I am guessing from what you said that I should start the car with the fuse out then put it back to get it to reset? cause just removing the fuse did not work for me...
I have a 2004 Thunderbird, and my stock stereo will be fine. Then it shuts down, not while I'm listening to it. It happens when i shut the car down, and then it simply doesn't power on when i start the bird. All The fuses are good this drives me absolutely crazy. Does anybody have any suggestions please.
