Tempted to post my cold start lol...I have a 2002 1.6 , cat delete and swapped the silencer box for (what we call) a sausage box. Have you run headers on yours already?
I’m not an expert but I do believe If you are modifying the exhaust it should not increase the the cars fuel consumption. The only way I know that it will increase the fuel consumption is when u get it tuned to backfire or pop. Also Sorry I got to your comment so late.
I own a 2010 hyundai elantra and found a used dual exhaust magnaflow catback for cheap but I can't find a video with a dual exhaust setup with a deleted resonator. Do you think you could find one or have one?
Taijean Moodie I do not know of a video nor have one but if it’s got the magnaflow muffler and no resenator it should sound abt the same as this maybe a bit louder since the magnaflow is a performance muffler/resonator vs just having the stock resonator/muffler
I’m doing this to my car. I have the same car, but I’m doing the muffler delete, without the burnt tip, how much louder then this will it be since I won’t have a burnt exhaust tip right away ??
I noticed since the burnt tip is a dual tip instead of the old single tip the burnt dual is a little bit louder since it splits into 2 but it’s barely a difference in volume, so they’re basically the same volume
