Man those startup chimes are kinda nostalgic to me. My aunt used to have one of these when I was a kid and I was at her house all the time, it was practically my home away from home. Darn I miss that suv, it was messy but it was such a fun car to ride in
It isn't anything to scream about but I definitely love mine!!! I personally have the ES V6 top of the line... It has 200000 miles on it!!! It still runs great. it's a fun car! it doesn't feel like an suv cause it really begs you to throw it into the turns and drive it fast lol. And it is durable.. the interior is very durable. Stands up to time well. The fog lights are weak though. The break by the littlest rock hitting them. Good Review, thumbs up!!!
Just got a 2016 Escape not too long ago. Unfortunately Mazda is NOT owned by Ford anymore. So they don’t make the Tribute anymore either. There was also the Mercury Mariner which was essentially the same vehicle as the Escape and the Tribute. But that’s been long gone as well, considering Mercury was discontinued a few years ago. Now the Escape stands alone, considering Lincoln doesn’t make it’s own version of the Escape anyways.
My 2006 LX V6 model AWD was a good buy, but I'm forced to get a Hyundai Ioniq hybrid for improved mpg's for Uber/Lyft use, however. This Ford/Mazda version was popular as a taxi until the hybrid models took dominance. Even so, this is an extremely versitol compact SUV model. It drives likes a car.
My dad had a 2001 Mazda tribute V6 and he brought it in 2009 when I was 1 year old and when my brother was 3 years old and after stopped working in 2017 and be had to get rid of it And after that car broke down my Dad brought a 2010 Honda Accord limited edition which he still has. But we had that car for 8 years
Your coolant light came on (along with your check engine light) Hope you took care of the repairs. Hope your radiator was fine and all you needed was coolant
Impressive. Coworker wants to sell me a 2002 LX-v6 4wd version here for under $1000 U.S. and just may get it as those seem to be a good vehicle as that aluminum Ford 3.0L Duratec v6 engine was a design collaboration between Ford, Porsche and Cosworth. Nice video here as I'll know to expect as I'm used to Jeep Wrangler TJ, AMC Eagle, 1st and 2nd gen. Dodge RAM trucks...this vehicle seems to be much more ergonomic friendly.
Looks boring and outmoded especially the last column transmission have complex engineering made difficult to repair the gear and obsolete drum brakes had no replacement parts when brake shoe worn out by rust and heat. And thirsty 3.0 V6 smell like regular when gas prices are expensive this year’s fuel crisis; then get an electric hatch cheap, safe and carbon neutral yet expensive to buy and waste of charge and distance affects the battery motor other go catch the bus and electric train cheap and safe.
