These are better than the drafts we have now. Just way more entertaining to watch. Recently they just try way too hard and it's too chaotic. Too many people talking.
As low as Ed Reed went, just think if Carolina had traded back into the 1st round and taken Reed. Him and Peppers on the same team would have been insane.
4:06:00 I've been watching NFL drafts since the early 80s. The Jets fans are almost always right, and the Jets brass are always wrong. Mel Kiper can never figure out what they're doing. They should've taken Ed Reed. That was as obvious then as it is now.

He has his moments. Just watched an older draft where he ripped the Rams for drafting WR Eddie Kennison over Marvin Harrison, and ripped them for drafting Lawrence Phillips earlier in that same draft.
Why Hodge got to talk about QB's so much back then is beyond me. He was terrible, literally led the charge on Aaron Rodgers is gonna bust in 2005; well him and Jaws, but Jaws at least played qb in the NFL.
