These cards are so nice,I remember when I was a kid and this set came out I got a pack and my local card store, one of the best sets from back in the day
I’ve never understood why these old tribute cards don’t hold more hobby value. They’re honestly probably some of the nicest cards from that era you can buy. They’re also nicer that a lot of newer cards that are 2k a pack.
Some of the most beautiful cards I've ever seen. The cards in the last 10 years have defeated the purpose of collecting... kids these days have no idea what opening packs feels like.
Don't know if you just lucked out with the quality of relics or if this is common for the product. But every single relic was cool, worst IMO being the Mazeroski, but even that,I would be happy with if I opened one pack. I particularly like the Bill Dickey. It seems like an attainable relic from a member of Murderers Row. I was lucky enough to get a Gehrig quad relic from a break a couple years ago. Dickey is a HOF catcher, and along with Yogi Berra, had number 8 retired for him by the team (it was retired years after he retired, which is why Berra had the number as well). Anytime you can get some mem from a guy who played with Babe Ruth, it's a win.
