When reading codes it is essential to clear them first and then make them recur. Otherwise you are likely to get tiered codes and start chasing the wrong symptoms. Codes from the CAN bus are stacked, the most recent comes up first. But the most recent may have been triggered by the base problem after the original code gets stored.

Can you keep the hose pinch as temporary fix?

Good question. I'm not sure what all that coolant hose feeds. If it only feeds the heater core then it probably wouldn't hurt but if it feeds something else more important then I'd hate to inadvertently damage something else.

All the cars today can't be fixed. Everything is replace expensive cheap defective parts at high prices and expensive labor. Cars are beautiful on the outside and crappy parts inside.

AW MAN, WTH!!! I done spent $1300 on a new compressor, radiator fan & a damn…..something or another dang thing that didn’t work! Wasn’t none of em the right part! It was this part all along. So….the way I see it…you owe me $1300, hoss! Cuz if I’d seen this video 2 month ago, I’d be 13balls richer! (balls: “00”) That’s on you, Darth Vid-Evader! Pay up, George Dupe’us! Show me the money, Luke LieTalker!
