2003-2008 Honda Pilot Hood Latch Stuck Fix

the camera was too shaky. i cant get my hood to open. i have a 2005

does the 2003, 2004, and 2005 pilots all have the same type of hood? if I needed to replace a hood on a 2004 can I use a hood from a 2005?

If car was recently worked on and the hood release cable sleeve was not seated in the bracket but the cable is still in the leaver you can pull down on the cable to release the hood.
